A nice getaway far off the main roads. The house was clean with a rustic feel. The second bath is actually outside the house but very clean and well maintained.

What a gem! We (two adults and two kids, 10 & 14) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pamlico Cottage. From enjoying our morning coffee on the pier to watching the dolphins swim by, the cottage is in a magical location. The kids loved kayaking and fishing. Mary was an exceptional communicator, making our whole experience seamless. The cottage is well supplied with everything you need, and we appreciated all the small touches like retro games, books, toiletries and a well stocked kitchen. Recommend stopping into the Trader Joe’s on the way in Greenville, otherwise Food Lion is your closest grocery store. If you genuinely want to get away from it all, this is the place for you!

Amazing place on the Pamlico River

Relaxing and beautiful

Came here to relax and take in the beautiful view! Cottage is just adorable and every spot has something to look at. Enjoyed time watching sunsets, tons of graceful jellyfish, birds, dolphin and the ever changing water. Even saw a bald eagle circling above. Cottage has everything you could possibly need. Spent a little time in Washington NC which was a cute and friendly little harbor. This is definitely a great place to unwind, decompress and really just chill.

We stayed for my daughter’s graduation from ECU. House is quirky but quaint. House fully stocked with everything you need! Host is responsive and extremely generous with toiletries and little extras. Would definitely stay there again

Quaint Cottage for a Fishing Trip

House is very interesting! It appears to be a custom, hand-built cottage. The interior is filled with nautical tchotchkes, a dozen oil lamps, many great books to read and games to play, and loads of charm.

We had an amazing weekend at Pamlico Cottage. The home was adorable and well stocked. We wanted for nothing. Of course the view was spectacular and time on the water was a blessing. We will look forward to a return trip!

Peaceful retreat

The cottage was so peaceful and quiet. The only sounds were the birds and the water lapping on the shore. Great for relaxing. We even saw dolphins swimming in the river.

Beautiful getaway

House was exactly as advertised. Has everything you could need & then some. Absolutely gorgeous views. Easy check in, property owner fast to respond (had questions before trip not during stay). Very quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors. Great fishing from dock, saw dolphins daily.

Great semi-secluded get-away

very quiet rustic setting, great water views. very clean but (surprisingly) some of the floor boards spring-board when you step on them. The pier was great and a nice place to relax. There was no ladder to access the water but the pier was acceptable. We are retired, so water access was not needed anyway. Be careful getting in and out of the show-tub unit, there are no hand holds.

Amazing Place!

This was the most restful vacation i have ever had! I took my elerly mother for a week with just the 2 of us. I left ffor the military when i was 20 and have always lived far away- This week was about giving my mother and myself a week to just enjoy each others company and to just relax, reminisce, read and enjoy the views of the River This cottage was the ideal place to do so! Our host had the cottage stocked with many items you would not find at a typical VRBO. The pier and the view was amazing and the decor of the cottage was a perfect addtion! The town of Belhaven is a small town that has a Food Lion and several places to eat. If you are looking for a place to get away- just relax and be away from the craziness of life- i highly recommend!
