We had a wonderful timeat this lovely, spacious property. It was the best equipped of all the holiday/short stay lets we have stayed in. We used it as a base to do many miles of the Northumberland coast path. Chilling with a cold beer on the rooftop garden after a hard day’s walking was really amazing.

Good Location for exploring.

Enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for exploring Northumberland. The roof terrace was a bonus although we didn’t manage to use it much due to the weather. The welcome pack and milk in the fridge was a lovely extra. The cottage was very well equipped with many extra kitchen essentials.

Loved our stay!

This cottage is immaculate, quite large but still very welcoming and cosy, the quality of the furnishings is lovely and everything has been put together with a great deal of thought. Ideally situated in the centre of hhe village with 3 pubs and a co op close by, and handy for all the sights you could wish to visit. Communication with the owners was spot on, many thanks for a lovely stay!

Excellent stay in a home away from home.

Jacqui is an excellent host, and we had a fantastic short break in one of her holiday lets. The cottage is extremely well equipped and a lot of thought has gone into making it comfortable for guests. We were pleased to arrive to a house that was spotlessly clean and we couldnt fault it. Parking was readily available and all the breathtaking beauty of . Bamburgh was a short distance away. Family time

Property was well equipped. Great location for our newyear celebrations. Everything you needed was supplied. Only thing we think should been told was we shared the bin area with other cottages. It was fine but we had left things in there as was cold. But it was still ok. We just didnt know. We would definitely return.

Amazing cottage

The most perfect Christmas get away. Gorgeous cosy cottage and absolutely loved the roof terrace for star gazing. Quiet village but everything we needed. Easy to drive over to the coast and great local pubs. Super communication from host and the cottage was immaculate with everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much we had a very peaceful and relaxing Christmas away

Fabulous location & a lovely property!

On arriving at the property, we were met by Craig, the owner who showed us round. The Vault is part of an old bank which he has converted into a fabulous 2 bed holiday cottage. There are two other apartments in the building also available for rental. The decor & furnishings are beautiful & the property was spotless. It has everything that you need to have a super holiday. Off the master bedroom is a delightful roof terrace however the weather was not quite up to alfresco dining! The village of Belford is an ideal location for a holiday in Northumberland & has 3 pubs, a co-op & a fish & chip shop. We will definitely be back .

Visiting past memories from childhood

Overall the property is good, listed as is. Easy parking, ease of access and everything needed for a break from home. Our host left a lovely welcome basket. Thank you Central or ease of access to Berwick & Scotland or the scenic and varied Northumberland coast I remember as a child. We weren't able to use the rooftop area due to the weather but could see it would be an excellent area in summer. One thing we feel that needs to change is the disposal of rubbish. The general bin is full of numerous full bin bags in the bin store resulting in an awful smell. This surely cannot be right. One thing

Clean and comfortable

The property was very clean and had everything we needed - the kitchen was very well equipped. The location is good, with Bamburgh, Seahouses and Alnwick all a short drive away. It was great to have the Co-op and farm shop in the village. A downside was the lack of allocated parking - there were a couple of days where we had to hunt for a parking space nearby. Oa greaat stay.

Lovely break away

Vault cottage was perfect for me and my daughter to relax and enjoy 5 days in beautiful Northumberland.
