The room was extremely cold, staff must have been aware that something was amiss with our room as before I had chance to report the problem to reception there was a knock at the door, a member of staff had an electric heater under his arm & asked if we were cold, we were frozen, couldn't even take our coats off, he checked the radiator & said it was probably because other guests were having a shower, he said give it half an HR, both my daughter and I ended up laid under the duvet with our coats on, I then had to take the dog out & as it was now 40 mins after the appearance of the heater I called in at reception on my way back to the room to explain that we were still really cold, the very small heater had probably raised the temp by a degree or so but still not acceptable, I also suffer from Raynaud's which I mentioned to her, she said she'd send someone up, time went on, we had to get ready to go down to dinner with the rest of our party, not a great experience as I didn't want to get changed, my daughter went to check out dog an HR later & had to bring him down as he was shivering with the cold, again we went to talk to reception, we were told she'd get another heater sent up, again this never happened, luckily once we all got under the really thick duvet we did sleep ok but overall not a great experience
