"Great place and pleasant staff. Would and will stay again."

"The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The entire experience was above what you would expect for a relatively cheap three star hotel."

"Every time I travel back north I stay at this place as it's friendly, has what you need and more-aka the restaurant next door and nearby to bigger shops too"

"The lady who checked in was so lovely, even took us to our room. Every member of staff asks if you need help finding anything and direct you to were you need to be. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast included in the room stay was 10/10."

The one thing missing at breakfast was a bowl of fresh fruit. Dinner was well prepared and presented. All in all a very good experience at the Duke of W."

"Lovely old hotel with public bar. Breakfast included whichbis good. Close to the village centre shops and bus transport very close."

"Parking was good. Meals in pub were great. Breakfast was fantastic. Good beer."
