"Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again"

"Communication from owner was prompt from start to finish. The lodge itself is as described and in a lovely quiet setting, ideal base for seeing the north lakes.Lodge had everything you need for your break, local shops are 15minute drive away or pick up what you need on the way home from your day out. If you want a nice peaceful break this is the place. Would recommend."

"Alojamiento en una ubicación muy buena en la zona de los lagos cerca de Keswick. "We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely."

"I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up."

"Cant fault any aspect of our stay. From the beginning to the end it was excellent. Sarah is an amazing host and the communication from booking the property till the end of our stay was 5*. "We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful property in the Lake District. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. "Very nice place, we felt like at home here. Everything was clean. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook, you can relax. The town is beautiful. Shops literally across the street. Cheap parking right next to the apartment. The owners are very helpful and answer all questions very quickly. I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it. "The hut is as described on the website - no nasty surprises. Views are stunning even in the rain. Plenty of space to bbq / camp fire outside. It is quite remote spot which is what we were looking for and if there had been no cloud I’m sure the star show would’ve been spectacular."
