Each room in this wonderful house is truly impressive, and every detail has been thought through in order to give you a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. High ceilings, exposed brick and timber beams provide drama, complemented by quality furnishings and interesting lighting, art and accessories. The kitchen has a stunning set of bifold doors that open directly to the garden and offer amazing views, while the lounge and dining room, both with super-high ceilings, share a double-sided wood burner. The dining room is open plan to a games room with a pool table, and all the entertaining rooms have a speaker system so that you can accompany your holiday with your favourite music. Of the five bedrooms, three are on the ground floor – a double and a twin which share a Jack-and-Jill shower room, plus a second twin. On the first floor you’ll find a king-size and a double bedroom, both with en-suites, as well as a mezzanine reading nook overlooking the lounge. Let children play on the lawn while you watch from the patio, perhaps grilling some local delicacies on the BBQ or simply admiring the mesmerising views.
From here it’s just 5 miles to Beccles, a lovely town on the River Waveney which boasts a variety of excellent shops, cafes and restaurants. This whole area is worth exploring for its scenic countryside, while if you want to head to the coast vibrant Southwold is just 10 miles away, offering plenty for everyone to do, from amusements on the pier to a paddle in the sea.
Dove Barn is part of a complex of barns including Pantiles, Bobby's Barn and Marsh Farmhouse.
