There was good communication from the host. The accommodation suited our group well, with different spaces for people to hang out and plenty of beds, albeit we thought it looked bigger online. The spa came in handy after a days skiing to ease those aches and pains. The kitchen, pots & pans and supplies of herbs and spices were good for self catering. There was a bit of a snow shortage in the time we were there, which meant it was not possible to ski in ski out as too icy, but the walk to the nearest slope was short anywayWe thought the need to sign an extra legal agreement was unusual, but perhaps the hosts once bitten are twice shy. The need to take your own rubbish to the local dump seemed strange, but maybe it’s more usual in Canada - thankfully our transfer driver agreed to help.

My extended family and I had a great stay. We were happy to find a place with 5 bedrooms! 4 star only bc the ski in and out situation isn’t great to new skiers. The path down to the road was a little icey and narrow for newbies and the road at the bottom had no snow so it wasn’t really ski out for us. Another option is to walk to the perfection run which is ok for an adult but a bit of a slog for the younger kids (doable but we didn’t want to come in for lunch bc of it)The kitchen was well stocked with dishes etc and beds were comfy! Host is friendly and communication was great:)

The whole experience was lovely. Kate (the host) was very responsive and helpful. Only one parking spot though, and the second one is far away at Happy Valley. The ski in and out is better than Snow Pine Estates in general, but still some walking on the road for ski out, and have to walk up the slope on the side of the building for skin in. The TV was hard to use and we couldn't get any streaming or screen-casting working to watch a group movie. Overall, very nice place and very accomodating.

Family ski holiday for 7 adults, 2 babies and two small children

Our stay was just great, very enjoyable, with lots of space for everyone, and a great kitchen for family meals together. We were able to get to the ski hills with some short walks with the young children. There are no places for strollers for the babies but the walk to the village was great using baby carriers, and esp nice through the woods. A fine week!

7 old guys called the Village Idiots usually ski at Whistler changed plans this year, trying Big White. issue we had with this place was the ski out, we had to walk up to the fire hall to get to the first run. the place was very nice and clean. Manager, was very helpful, they were very accomidating. I would stay here again.

Big white snow crest stay

Very cute and cozy condo with lots of beds! Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Although a very close walk to the village we didn’t even need to go to the store! Only suggestion would be to clarify the parking situation. As we were leaving we noticed a parking map which indicated a second stall for the unit which we had been parked in but asked to leave, NOT by the host! Overall a great stay!

Just the best

It’s not often that you stay someplace new and just want to keep it to yourself, it’s so special. We had such a great visit at Big White! We will definitely be back. The ski-in/out feature is lovely, the village offers variety and easy options for groups, and the skiing is spectacular. Kate’s place is so well equipped, be sure to review her instructions and inventory prior to packing because the home offers tremendous amenities. The hot tub after a ski or snowshoe day is so lovely. We were able to see beautiful stars on a clear night and enjoy the charm of snow fall while hot tubbing others. Kate’s instructions are clear and accurate. I really appreciated her and we will most definitely be back ASAP!

Great location for 2 families!!

5 adults and 5 children had a great holiday!! The unit is very well stocked with all the necessities. Kitchen is big, and fireplace is a nice touch. Hot tub was great after a day of skiing and you can see the Saturday fireworks!! One note is to pack light the rooms don’t have a lot of room for suitcases. Will book again!!!

Great Accommodation & Good Location

We had a great time at Christmas. The location of the accommodation is great for access to the village and close to the slopes. I wouldn't describe this as ski in/out. Our teenagers and older kids were happy skiing out but it's not easy. The amenities in the property are brilliant lots of extras are included which is great when travelling from the UK and space is of a premium in your suitcases. We would stay here again if we go back to Big White. The host was friendly and helpful and responded to queries really quickly. Thank you for a great holiday.

Great stay!

Excellent stay in a beautifully updated unit that accommodated 3 families (6 adults and 6 kids). Very well appointed kitchen and great amenities that met all of our needs. You can definitely après all day in this place! Our host (Kate) was a pleasure to deal with from the onset and made our stay memorable.

Great Easter Weekend!

Overall, this was a great way to enjoy skiing at Big White over the Easter Weekend. We had lots of room for our family of 6 and the weather was fantastic with beautiful sunshine and lots of snow. Walking distance to everything. Would stay again.

Kate's place was perfect for 5 dads and 6 teenage boys on a March break ski trip. Incredibly well stocked, great hot tub and excellent location.

Great place for lots of people.

It is well organized and the hosts are really fast to react to questions or issues. They sent a plumber right away for toilet issues. The house wasn't as big as expected, but that it did the job well. I'd be back.

Best Ski Vacation

Truly enjoyed our stay at the house. The kids had a blast. They built a sled hill on the back side of the house and have fun in the hot tub. Enjoyed the fireplace and the kitchen was perfectly set up. Easy check in and out process. Kids easily could ski in and out. A little more challenging for us in our 60’s. Best time was had by all. Kids want to come back next year.

Awesome Stay!!!

We loved our location and the common space we could all hang out in. The couch was very comfortable. Had plenty of supplies all the things you needed to make big meals. I loved having the fresh linens and fresh crisp sheets. The teenagers love the foosball machine and having an area they could hang out in. Overall was an awesome experience excellent communication with the host, thank you we would stay again!!

Great long weekend stay

This property was great for accommodating a family of 5 and two other adults. The kids spread out to the bunk rooms while the adults each took the larger beds. The kitchen is WELL stocked with spices, utensils, cooking and baking items, and basically everything you need besides your own food ingredients. It has 3 full bathrooms, one with a steam shower, which was great. A wood stove fireplace that kept the place toasty and added chalet authenticity. The snow on the mountain never stopped. There was probably 40 new cms while we were there, it was fantastic (though typical big white bit white out). The only drawback is the ski-in ski-out. Yes, it is definitely (mostly) ski out, but you have to ski on the road, which if cleared requires walking or scratching your skis. Ski in is either via a path/trail which then requires a bit of a steep walk up a hill or, ski in via the road and climb (literally) over a giant snow pile/bank. While the kids were fine with it, our older plus 50 bodies didn't love that part so much. Having said all of that, you can get fairly close to the unit. Overall, great contact with the host, who was great through some car drama our party had and was helpful and responsive the whole time. VERY happy with how that all went, and host is very thourough with the contract, contact, and knowledge of the location. We had a great time. Thanks very much.
