Landelijk en sympathiek
De typische Franse auberge-stijl is voor ons altijd zeer aantrekkelijk en aangenaam. Gezellig, ontspannen en lekker ouderwetse meubels. Dit gekoppeld aan een uitstekend restaurant is werkelijk de max.

Le village était charmant et calme. Le personnel très accueillant et arrangeant. Seul petit bémol étant l'insonorisation entre les chambres.

Lovely small hotel in archetypal French village
Lovely small French village. Host was very helpful as restaurant was closed they prepared a meal just for us. Ideally located to split the journey down to the south of France.

very poor
I had to cancel the one night, as scheduled, in the afternoon of the booked night. They not only charged me one night but two. I had to call the hotel myself and they acknowledged the mistake but could not reimburse me on my credit card. It's beyond my comprehensions how the hotel can easily charge me an extra night by mistake but cannot reimburse me their mistake.

rebonjour Mr Ronald m'excuse de vous cotre dire m'ais vous avez pas annulait votre chambre de plus vous dite que vous avez annulait a la dernière minute. je vous rappelle le règlement pour annulait et 24h minimum avant en ce qui concerne le remboursement vous avez préférais être rembourser par cheque que jais envoyer a l'adresse que vous m'avez communiquer de 6 jours déjà vous devez le recevoir dans la semaine cordialement.

Agréable, mais assez vieillot
Etape sur notre retour de vacances, nous cherchions un hôtel restaurant de charme. Etablissement assez agréable, mais daté. Redécoré dernièrement, cela peine à masquer l'âge de l'endroit. Pas de clim, un simple ventilateur, wifi défaillant, terrasse sans charme. Bonne table et accueil agréable, mais un budget de 220 € pour 1 nuit et 2 repas trop élevé pour cette prestation.

Hôtel excellent et patron et employé très sympathique avec un petit hic pendant les courses aux mans , augmentation du prix de la chambre mais cela ne m’empêchera pas de revenir une prochaine fois sans hésiter .

Located in a lovely quaint little French village. Very peaceful and relaxing. Food and drink served in a nice little restaurant just next door - dinner was very nice and good value. Room a bit small and internet went down when we were there. Otherwise no complaints

What a gem. We stayed for one night 2 Adults, 2 children and a dog. The room was lovely and pet friendly and opposite a park to walk the dog. The best thing about this hotel though is the food. It is excellent - really. My husband is a chef and could find no fault with anything. The menu was great for the children and the chef was friendly and kind. We like one of the cheese so much they gave us one to take home as a gift. Excellent

Un dîner fabuleux, pour un prix très raisonnable..
Nous avons fait trouvé ce lieu par hasard.. l'hébergement est classique, mais propre est bien tenu.. le wifi.. moyen, l'accueil est charmant, et très convivial.. le chef nous a préparé un dîner remarquable, et pour un coût plus que raisonnable… très belle table… n'hésitez pas à vous arrêter..

Stayed here one night en route from Dieppe to Spain. Quirky hotel off the beaten track. Hotel is situated on other side of road to restaurant. Comfortable enough for an overnight stay. Limited parking. Ate in the restaurant and the meal was one of the best I have ever had. ( NB. menu and service all in French). Reservation for evening meal recommended and this can be done via the hotel's website. However, the breakfast was extremely disappointing and certainly not worth the money. Would stay here again though.

An Architypical French Auberge
An excellent example of a traditional family-run French auberge. The restaurant was pleasantly full for Sunday evening dinner - mainly locals, plus 3 British couples, and the ambience was ideal. Menu choices were excellent, the cuisine superb, and the wine list well selected and reasonably priced. Very good value for money. The adman's dream for a SAGA advert.

Quiet small village hotel in the French countryside. Room & bathroom clean and fine for an overnight stay or couple of days. Restaurant extremely good value with tasty unpretentious food that we remember from many years ago, now sadly encountered less often in France.

Great Food!
Stopped off here on our way down to the Dordogne and was not disappointed. The staff were so welcoming and very helpful, and very understanding of us muddling through our french language skills. The room was very clean and a large family room, we were travelling with our 2 year old and it was perfect. The room was also a disabled room and everything in the hotel was accessible for those with additional needs. The food was also incredible. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and could not fault it at all, four courses for about €27 is amazing value and definitely got our holiday off to a good start! In comparison the breakfast was slightly underwhelming but I think we just arrived a little late. Overall, great little place, would definitely stay again and would recommend to all.

Not What We Expected
Looking at the favourable reviews of this hotel we decided to book it on our way to the Dordogne and also on our return. Upon arrival it we realised that this hotel was no where near as good as photos and reviews. We had our dog with us and our room was not very large and was extremely hot and stuffy, good job we had a fan with us to cool down the room. Staff were not that friendly or welcoming. Very disappointed with this hotel and immediately cancel our return booking, staying here once was more than enough. Would definitely not recommend and would never stay there again.

Quiet, quaint and friendly
Nice rooms as part of the bar/restaurant. Lovely little village, very quiet, but no other amenities. No English spoken, but that isn’t a problem and after all it is in France.
