"Hotel situated in a stunning location. Anyone looking to relax can certainly make themselves at home. Relaxed atmosphere and comfortable bed. No tv however they are trying to promote an atmosphere that does not need a tv. Not that there's much on it anyway. Also with free, fast wi-fi you can still use your phone/tablet if you need to watch something etc. Meals very nice, Steak was tasty and Haddock was in a Golden beer batter and was lovely. "Absolutely beautiful hidden gem. It is off the beaten path. The beauty of the Glen Affric area is well worth the trip. Definitely not part of the tourist scene. "

"The Hen House was lovely! It really was pretty, comfortable and finished to an incredibly high standard. The estate is beautiful and we happened to stay during a midsummer fair, which was fantastic. The hot tub was in dire need of a deep chemical clean. The tubes connected to the fire were leaking bits of dirt. Also the check out time being 10am is quite early when it is self catering and you’ll also need to pack a car. Overall I would highly reccomend a stay here. "

"We had a lovely stay in Pheasant Lodge, which is in a quiet setting, surrounded by birdsong. It was beautifully clean and had all that we needed.If you enjoy swimming, then the pool is a real bonus - not least because you can book your slot the day before and we were able to enjoy it to ourselves.
