Beautiful Getaway

What a gorgeous rental! Mr. Dan and his wife Bobby are wonderful hosts. Mr. Dan built this amazing property, and it shows in fine details. We wanted for nothing. We would absolutely stay again.

Absolutely great

Absolutely great, we would like to thank Bobbie and Dan for a wonderful time at their home on Ladies Island. Dan and Bobbie were such wonderful hosts and really Made everything to make sure our stay was perfect. Dan greeted us on arrival and took the time to show us around the property. They even invited us for cocktails at their house. Dan was so helpful and did everything for us to support us in a difficult situation.We are so glad we met them and can't wait to visit again in the future. The Carriage House exceeded all our expectations. It is perfectly equipped and furnished with great attention to detail in a maritime style. We especially enjoyed the afternoons until sunset on the boat dock. If we could give more than the possible 5 points, every additional point would be absolutely deserved. We would very much like to come back soon.

Great and quiet place!

This was our second time staying here in the last two years and it was just as great as the first time! The place is perfect and has everything you need, the water views and sunsets on the dock are pristine and relaxing. The owner Mr. Dan wasn’t there that week, but he still made sure we were taken care of by calling or texting us a few times to check on us and make sure we were enjoying the place and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back in the future again!

Everywhere you turn is a pleasant surprise. This was my home away from home for 10 days for business and it was perfect. Dan and Bobbie go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your stay. Highly recommend

Lady’s Island

Scenic location with lovely marsh and creek views. The property was very comfortable and well maintained, all amenities were provided and in good working condition. The property manager was friendly and accommodating. He and his wife gave us privacy and let us make the most of enjoying the sunset views from their dock. It was a great getaway for us. We love the area and hope to get back to the Lowcountry soon. Many thanks to Dan and Bobbie

I wish I could give this 10 stars! My husband and I truly had one of the best experiences here. The carriage house is even better than pictured. It's extremely well kept and there are so many little details to appreciate. Both of us work remotely, and the space was a perfect set up for that. Dan and Bobbie were such wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. They greeted us upon arrival, and took the time to show us around the property. They even took us on a boat ride! We are so glad to have met them and can't wait to come back in the future.

Ideal and Welcoming

This is a lovely one-bedroom apartment, charmingly decorated and comfortable with everything you could need. The location worked for us because we wanted to be near downtown Beaufort (but not IN it), and also near the grocery store and nature walks---a beach view was not a priority for us, though this has a lovely slice of the waterway from the dining room table. The hosts, Dan and Bobbie, are absolutely the best--thoughtful and attentive. We loved it so much, we will return next year. We could not have been happier!

Nautical theme

The owner was extremely friendly and very obliging. The place was clean, spacious, and quiet. We were surprised by all the little amenities that were provided to us, such as: washer, dryer, dishwasher, internet, and cable Tv. The location was close to the supermarket, restaurants and stores. But the best thing of all was having a nice place to stay while visiting our son , daughter-in-law and grandchildren for the Christmas Holiday.

A Little Slice of Heaven

This is a wonderful cottage in a picturesque setting. It is minutes from shopping, restaurants, and anywhere one would want to explore in the Beaufort area. The hosts were lovely and we only wish we could have gotten to know them better. The highlight of each day was enjoying a drink on the dock while watching the sun go down and the birds settling in for the night in the marsh. A definite repeat trip is necessary after construction on I-26 is over!

Cozy, Clean and Convenient

After a long day of driving we were so happy to arrive at this beautiful carriage house! It was so inviting and we just dropped into bed. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom as far as towels, extra sheets and pillows for the fold-out bed, and plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, and cookware. We didn't do much cooking since we were so close to EVERYTHING. Restaurants and shopping were minutes away in both directions. The backyard, dock and dockhouse shared by our host was a slice of heaven. We watched dolphins swim by, along with all manner of birds. It was also fun to watch the boaters as they drifted along. Even in the scorching heatwave, there was a cool breeze in the evening perfect for G&Ts and charcouterie to go with the pink and orange sunset. The nautical decor added just the right touch to the view of the waterfront. And our host Dan was great about keeping in touch and making sure all our needs were met. We can't wait to come back!

Carriage house

We enjoyed our stay at the carriage house it was a lovely quiet get away right on the water and close to everything. Dan was so wonderful and made us feel at home and was so personable. We enjoyed taking boat rides in the evening to watch the sun set on the creek and exploring downtown Beaufort

Peaceful Retreat

The property was very well appointed. The grounds around the property were lush and well cared for. Great attention to detail was given to the nautical themed carriage house. Convenient, yet quiet location. Just perfect!

Perfect Place for a Relaxing Getaway

The property was just as presented on Vrbo. It was spacious, well decorated, super clean, and equipped with everything needed for a great vacation. The fishing pier on the property was an added bonus. The cottage owner greeted us the night of arrival and was there if needed. He also recommended a great restaurant (that we visited twice). We hope to return soon and highly recommend this property in this lovely town for you next vacation.
