This property is marketed as a “beach cottage”. It looks like a mobile home and is in the middle of a mobile home park. Crying, screaming children and barking dogs could be heard well into the night. It needs some SERIOUS detail to cleaning. I’m not sure what was most disturbing, the cut lemon left in the freezer or the jellybean left on the chair rail in the bedroom. The washing machine was filthy, a huge sticky spot on the kitchen floor, everything needs to be dusted and floors swept. Three nasty, used sponges were left on the kitchen sink. Attention to detail is needed as well. The drain in the bathroom is rusted out, the lamps are rusted along with the paper towel holder. The siding coming into the “cottage” is melted and broken. There was a blind broken and the blind in the sitting area was completely gone, leaving a big window in the door uncovered for anyone to see in. (I put a towel over it) The ceiling in the bathroom has paint peeling off. There were no extra paper towels, the smoke detector went off in the middle of the night with no extra batteries. Last but not least, it was also marketed to have a spa tub. It has a regular tub/shower combo. Nothing spa about it. I have plenty of pictures if they are needed. VRBO has taken it off of their site. I would hope Expedia would do the same. I would NEVER recommend this property to anyone.
