The host emailed me to cancel my reservation 2 1/2 hours before check in time - something about Vrbo calendars not syncing. The host was polite by text and refunded my costs quickly but I had already arrived in Beaufort. Aliaa with customer service was helpful in getting my costs refunded and provided information on what I could do next but, I got no help with finding a new Vrbo site and spent the next two hours trying to find a hotel since all Vrbo sites were full or because a day of reservation is not possible. Now I have paperwork to complete for my vacation to get reimbursed for the cost difference. I was trying to get away from paperwork. This was not a vacation. It set the mood for the rest of my stay and is probably the worst vacation I have had.
