"What a find! Motel Bear Lake was a last minute reservation for me. I got there late and the office was closed but I texted the number and immediately got a call back. The person walked me through getting into my room while I was still on the phone. The room was lovely, spotless, and full of little treats. A unique spot, truly. Would 100% stay again."

"The room was very clean and had all the amenities a person would need. The bed was very comfortable, the selection of channels on the tv was great, the coffee and tea selection was good, having a microwave and refrigerator was great. Highly recommend this property when traveling."

"The river was right outside from our private patio. There was a river walk all the way from the motel into town one way and the other way out to lake michigan.It was nice to walk that early in the morning, or later after dinner.Completely safe.It was great that the motel was pet friendly too.. We are sure that our stay there will not be the last.We wii be back."

"The name of the hotel is The Coastal Inn. This alone is deceitful as there is nothing coastal about it. Our room was in a parking lot off a busy highway. While the room has a kitchenette, there is no table, no seating inside the room, with the exception of one chair, and two chairs to sit out front in the parking lot. No desk in our room even. Seriously not what we expected or what we would have paid ($200 a night per room/400 being there were 4 of us, and needed two rooms) I know it’s supply...

There is no any signs of resort, no beach access or even rest area, just a cheap renovated MOTEL hidden behind a “resort” name not for the cheap price All the red flags: ! BLUE towels and bedding ( god knows how properly they cleaned it) !
