Great View and sweet little house

My family and I really liked this nice little place. It has a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit and playing corn hole in the front yard with the boards we brought with us. Close to some nice boat launches. We highly recommend staying here. Communication with hosts was great! Nice folks!

Weekend getaway

Everything was beautiful just as described. Nice safe and quiet neighborhood with the beautiful lake view. Conveniently located to all types of areas of interest. Home was beautifully decorated and maintained with plenty of amenities. Stayed 2 nights and it was the best experience of my entire trip. I hope to visit again soon. I highly recommend this lake home!!! Hosts were very friendly and attentive to our needs.

The perfect spot

This was the perfect spot for our small group. The house itself has been updated and is very comfortable. The host was very accommodating. Checking in and out was easy. We hope to stay here again the next time we are down chasing fish on Cherokee.

We enjoyed our stay at this little house. It's in a beautiful location thats off the beaten path while still being very convenient. Theres a Dollar General a mile away if you need the basics & Hannah's Cafe is even closer. I highly recommend their burgers & onion rings! Our host was easy to communicate with when needed while still giving us complete privacy during the stay. House looks just like the pictures provided by expedia/vrbo. Our trip to Bean Station unfortunately wasn't for relaxing, we were busy cleaning out a family members home so it was very nice to come back to this little house at night & relax. A/c worked well, kept us nice & cool, washer & dryer worked great, fridge was ice cold & roomy. For our needs this place was great & I would recommend it. Just remember, it's in the country so you're going to see bugs, you're going to have to drive about 15 minutes to get to a town that has restaurants, etc. & you're going to have to be able to navigate curvy roads. I grew up in this area so I'm used to it, in fact, I prefer it, but it may not be for everyone. I would absolutely rent this little place again & in my opinion the host is awesome. Perfect combination of helpful without being intrusive.

Nice clean house

Every was as advertised, was there to practice for a fishing tournament and location was good to use different ramps and not have to drive an hour to get to different parts of the lake. Had 3-4 ramps within 20 minutes

Fishing Tournament Trip

We stayed here for one of our son's state fishing tournaments with Tn Bass Nation. We were a little far from the ramp where the blast off was but the location could not have been more peaceful. (We honestly wound up using another ramp (Grainger County Park) to launch from anyway because the blastoff ramp was kind of cramped.) The lake is across the street and provided a beautiful view each morning. The one sunrise I was able to witness was breathtaking! This little bungalow was perfect for our needs and provided a quiet place to relax after the day of fishing. The driveway had plenty of space for our truck & boat trailer and there was a plug accessible for charging. We would definitely look into this property again in the future when visiting the area.

Communication with host great. Location is definitely lake VIEW ONLY!! Don’t expect to be able to get to the lake at all. Online pictures are deceiving to someone who doesn’t know the area. House was not great on being clean. Pullout couch was filthy on the inside. Cereal and crumbs in the bed part and under the couch. Pullout mattress not good. Very uncomfortable. There was hair on the master bed sheets when we pulled the cover down for the first night. And under the bed was very dirty. Will say that beds were comfortable to sleep on. Microwave exterior was very dirty. Didn’t use it so not sure about the inside. Keurig dusty. Fridge was dirty on the inside. Also if we pay for cleaning fee, why is it our responsibility to strip beds and put towels in the shower and take trash out? Isn’t that part of a cleaning fee after a stay? Just wondering. To be quite frank, the only reason why we chose the place was because of the price on a holiday weekend. You get what you pay for. Overall it was fine for a place to lay your head down for the night. Needs more attention to cleaning especially if ty you charge for a cleaning fee but doesn’t look like it was cleaned.

Great place for a traveling angler

The house was in a great area within a few miles of several boat launches. Plenty of room for boat parking. Possibly 2 rigs if you keep them close. The house was well kept and the owner was super responsive. We were even able to get checked in a little early. Lots of restaurants within 15-20 mins. Most places close before 10 pm so know that you should be off the water early in order to get cleaned up and head out for dinner. Would not hesitate to book again.
