Cool, boutique hotel which was factory in the day. Let us check in early which was a bonus. Staff was great and offered dinner suggestions. Quaint, very walkable town.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Dutchess Hotel and Spa for one night in Feb 2024, and although the staff were friendly and the location was nice, the building is outdated. The elevator broke down overnight and our wifi went down. The staff had indicated that the elevator outage was a recurring issue over the last year. This made for an inconvenient last day of our trip, exacerbated by the fact that our room key did not work two separate times that morning, which forced us to take several trips up and down the stairs (our room was on the top floor). We were waiting for the elevator repairman to show up prior to check out, but he did not arrive. We were led to believe there would likely be a refund for this inconvenience, but we were only offered a $25 refund off what was a $450 one-night rate. Would not recommend this location, especially given it is the priciest hotel in the area.

We had an incredible stay at Dutchess Inn. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. They were able to get us into a larger room because our room was flooded with no extra charge. The hotel was very cute and highly recommend for any couples. The massage was OK in my opinion. It was not worth the money we spent. However the $40 for the hour in the spa was really nice. The room was very cute and clean and I really liked the whole vibe of the hotel.

They put us in a room with no windows that was boiling hot. You are unable to control the temperature in your room at this hotel. We asked the staff to lower it and they did not. Called them a few times and finally they agreed to bring a fan but didn’t bring it. Otherwise this is a very nice hotel. I just can’t give a good review when we slept terribly and yet paid so much money for the room. The place seemed empty so I’m not sure why we ended up with a windowless room. Bummer.

I dont believe the place is good value for its very high prices. it tries to be warm and meditative and serene, but it doesnt quite get there. for the prices they charge, i would not recommend it. there are charges for late arrival, the room did not have a desk chair. the water pressure on the shower was low. there was no bathtub. instead of a window, there were these weird blocks of glass. they couldnt get it together to have ready made coffee in the morning. instead of that, a do it yourself Keurig machine. not the spa atmosphere they go for. at these prices, i would not go back. having said that, the location is great and the beds were comfortable and the staff tries hard.

This is a beautiful property and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. Staff were all very professional and helpful. We each enjoyed a massage which was also a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. There are restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance of the property. I would recommend this property and plan to return.

It was one of the most wonderful places I stayed in the surtoundings of NYC. The spa was great too and most importantly the service was above and beyond! Will go again.

The property is located on Main Street. Main Street has everything any vacationer would want while on vacation. Shopping. Entertainment. Bars. Restaurants. Everything is at a walking distance so no vehicle is necessary while at the hotel. Perfect location. A wonderful roof deck and a spa to boot. No complaints. I am a repeate customer.

The property is gorgeous, centrally located to all that Beacon has to offer. The jacuzzi & our couples massages were first class. The staff went above & beyond to ensure we were comfortable without being intrusive. We will be back!!!

I loved the way the building's history revealed itself through the series of remodelings, redesigns and repairs that transformed the entity over time. It lent a quaint, sometimes whimsical, atmosphere to the suite where we stayed.

Great location with a wonderful deck
Cute place right in the heart of Beacon. Rooms are nice and bathrooms are clean. The best part of the hotel however is the amazing rooftop deck. There are wonderful views and lots of nice sitting areas. If you want a treatment in the “spa” be sure to book well in advance. We were unable to get any treatments when we were there,

As a little getaway for me and my boyfriend, Dutchess Inn is a perfect spot. The hotel is cozy, the room is spotless, the location is unbeatable (it is on the quieter side of town) and the rooftop sunset is stunning. And the staff is absolutely wonderful. We had a fantastic stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, I really enjoyed my stay there. The rooftop is also great for having takeout meals and just hanging out. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the spa services were enjoyable and welcome!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel….and rooms….one thing I would like is to have a thermostat in the room so one can adjust the a/c…..other wise perfect

Amazing roof deck and solarium. Room had roku I would’ve enjoyed that at home but I don’t want to put all my passwords in a hotel cable would be easier I never actually watched the TV. No fridge was a bummer I always buy beer and have leftovers. Still need an iron the steamer isn’t the same. That’s the negative everything else was superb the roof deck is an oasis, the staff are super cool, friendly and helpful. The remodel is great!

Thank you for your 4/5 review! We're so happy you enjoyed our space and remodel. Our Staff are happy to accommodate any of our guests needs. There are limited cable stations available if Roku isn't your speed. Our front desk refrigerator is always available for guests, and both our suites offer mini-fridges. Each room has a clothing steamer for convenience but we also have irons and boards available upon request. We hope to bring that 4 up to a 5 on your next visit!

Great place for a weekend getaway
It’s a quaint little place on Main st with a short walk to other restaurants and close to the Hudson if you wanted to see it. The staff was great and my wife and I got a massage there too which was fantastic.

Great service and hot tub bonus
The receptionist was warm and friendly as soon as we entered the hotel premises and gave us great tips about enjoying the property including the Solarium as an extension of our room and also the jacuzzi which we enjoyed very much in this coldest of nights. Overall great service and hope to come back again!
