"Excellent on all,staff parking and hotel "

"The room was clean and tidy however it was unbearably hot due to a lack of air con and alrhough a fan was provided it could not deal with the heat in the room. There was no fridge to keep water cold and milk from going off, . In the bathroom the toilet seat was really loose and the sink is so tiny it was impossible to have a wash. We had a shower on the first day and with no non slip mat I almost fell over. Towels were provided which we used for showering but when we asked for fresh towels the...

"We had a lovely 2 night stay. Staff were lovely and worked so hard. Breakfast was lovely and set us up for the day. Would definitely recommend staying here, we would stay again."

"The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. "Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best."

"Despite a long walk and a few staircases to climb the room was lovely. Clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The cooked breakfast was very tasty, hot and well presented. Situated very close to the town. Would definitely return."
