"I had seen some not so good reviews and was a bit skeptical, but this place is a little gem. It was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and professional, it was quiet and very well appointed. It's a great location and has a lovely view over the inlet (when the tide is in). We really enjoyed our stay. There is a great pub/restaurant right next door and the downtown area of Sechelt is about 1km away. Would recommend it anytime."

"Excellent hostess Lili - a wonderful Soul. The breakfasts provided delicious. The Davis Brook Retreat such a serene place for rejuvenation. We spent majority of our time on chaise lounges in the back yard listening to the song birds and wind chimes. A wee disappointment was the pool not really heated. Nowhere in website did it say pool not heated. Managed to get into pool once but not for long - rather cold. Did use hot tub once also. Overall a lovely stay. Will go again."

"Room was clean and spacious, was pleased that the kitchenette had enough basic kitchenware, pots and pans etc that we could make dinner and breakfast. Location is lovely, across the street from the public market and the harbour. We went for long evening and morning walks along the harbour. Very nice place to stay!
