Great stay

We rented this home along with the mansion for a family getaway. The guests who stayed here loved the house and had nothing but good things to say about it. Was super close to the mansion where the rest of our family stayed, which is exactly what we wanted. Would recommend!

Amazing wonderful property located on private nature space, Narrowburg very cute town nearby, we were lucky they had Riverfest that weekend. host is very kind and wonderful.

Great house and property

We enjoyed a fun and snowy long weekend at the Lodge. Matt was great to work with - he gave us a tour of the property, information about the surrounding area (restaurants, etc.) and was accessible throughout our stay when we had a question or two. The beds were super comfortable, and our teens enjoyed exploring the trails, and testing out their snowboards when we were snowed in for a day. Would love to come back again and check out one of the larger properties! One tip - bring your own seasonings, including salt and pepper.

Luxurious Home in the Country

We had a terrific stay at Hilltop Lodge. It was perfect for our group with terrific common spaces, a modern kitchen with a large table, a great porch and comfortable bedrooms. Matt was proactive and responsive. We can't wait to book again.

Family getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Hilltop Lodge. It was just what we were looking for. It wasn’t quite as secluded as we had hoped….there are two other large properties on the same street, but everyone was respectful and we were not bothered by any noise. My kids enjoyed seeing tbe Castle! Matt was very gracious and was very prompt to answer any questions/concerns we had. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen had all the supplies we needed to cook meals each night. We will certainly be back!

Great spot away from ot all

We stumbled upon this property and really glad we did. The owner was super nice and very attentive. The house was just as pictured and had everything we needed for our family of five. Even better we got to bring along our dog. The kids and the adults really enjoyed the game room. We hope to come back as guests in other Hilltop properties.

Just get away from it all.

We wanted a place where we could just relax as a family and get away from it all . This house had everything needed to keep a 7 and 9 year old busy during the day and the game room also kept Mom and Dad busy late into the night . The best part is we could bring our fur baby as well which is one of the main reasons we picked it !

Valentines Weekend Getaway

My boyfriend and I took our 7lb Pomapoo Bruno up here for a little Valentine’s Day retreat. We really enjoyed the house! Everything was very clean and the towels and linens were hotel quality. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and the fire pit outside was a nice touch! FYI I’m sure in the summer there is a lot to do but if you go in the winter months, I’d advise bringing your fire stick or any movies you want to watch. The location is quiet and peaceful however not as secluded as we thought since you definitely do have neighbors! All in all we would go back.

Great House, Great Experience

We had such an amazing time here. The house is beautiful, SUPER clean, and the owner was such a nice guy. The game room in the basement was such a nice addition, we all had the best time down there. We hiked some of the trial at the end of the street and it was a really nice way to get out and get some fresh air for a bit. Will definitely be back.

Great House

We had a fantastic time with our family for Thanksgiving. The house was just perfect for us. The owner provided all that we needed and even supplied more dishes/pots/serving bowls for our Thanksgiving. He went above and beyond. He was responsive to our needs when we first got there. The place was perfect so comfortable and cozy for our getaway. We even found great place for hiking not too far away as well as on the property with the trail down the street. The fire pit was fantastic at the end of our long day of hiking. The outdoor inclosed patio was nice when we enjoyed our coffee with the sun shining in. A great find! I highly recommend this place.

Nice place

We had a great time at this location. It was clean, we used the gas grill on the porch and having the Firepit outside was really convenient. There is also all the firewood for purchase you could want right up the street. The property landscape was stunning and we saw deer and other wildlife which was very cool. Both Matt and Tom were very communicative and responsive. They take great care in making sure everything is what you want. The sunrise and sunsets were amazing and the property was a short drive into the cute town of Narrowsburg. the beds were really comfortable and we loved coffee out on the back porch each morning which gives you a stunning view of woods. Two things to note if you plan on staying here for the price: it’s quiet as can be until there’s a crowd staying at the nearby mansion up the hill owned by the same people. You may want to check to see if that’s booked during your stay if you are looking for complete quiet. We heard a basketball court, music and some yelling but all was completely quiet after 7 pm. which gave us nice nights out by the Firepit. We also found the kitchen to not be fully stocked as was stated in the description. For people who like to cook, we found the bare minimum to be available which surprised us. We went out and bought paper towels, a tea towel, a cork screw, foil and spices and a good sharp knife. So if you love to cook, bring everything you need. The kitchen was very clean and had a nice view of the woods. We also had a property manager show up two times to get lawn equipment out of the garage. That scared us a little because this was a stranger who we didn’t know was going to be coming over during our stay. This is a very nicely decorated place and is a great location up a quiet hill. When it’s quiet it’s a real winner. We appreciate all that Matt and Tom did to make it an enjoyable stay. They clearly take great pride in their properties.

Great home!

I was looking for a nice home for my family and I to stay in for a few nights. This property really exceeded my expectations. Everything looked just like the pictures. They are dog friendly. They also recently added a game room in the basement which is not in the pictures because is something new. Tom and Matt were really nice and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. I definitely recommend this place.

Everything you need for a weekend away

The owner gave us an in person tour and reviewed the rules. Even though there was a big event at the house next door we barely noticed, the houses were far enough a part to feel private. Location is nearby tubing which enjoyed significantly. There's a list of what's provided, make sure you bring anything you might need (like a corkscrew!)

Beautiful area great rental for large groups.

We enjoyed our weekend in this home. It is very spacious and located up in the beautiful Mountains of Pennsylvania. The owner Matt is a great host very accommodating and a super nice guy.
