House was beautiful and looked even better than the pictures. We had a small issue with the dryer and the owners responded immediately and had it fixed within an hour! I would highly recommend this property!

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. This was a great place to stay while exploring central NS. If you plan to grill, be sure to bring charcoal. The view and the cool ocean breeze made for a relaxing time while sipping on a glass of wine or morning coffee from the deck. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was clean, well stocked with items we would need, had a fabulous view the water. The host was very friendly and quick to respond. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this property if you are looking for some relaxation yet still driveable to tourist spots (1 hour +/-).

This was an excellent place to stay to discover much of NS. Day trips are very doable to Halifax, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, and, although a little further, wine country in Wolfville. Chester and Hubbards are a little closer and offer a number of excellent shops and restaurants. Returning to number 7 is like coming home to relaxing luxury with an outstanding view. The house is very modern and well equipped for towels, sheets as well as kitchen appliances and utensils. Finally, there are many unnecessary but great touches such as funky martini jug and glasses, champagne flutes and even a Brita water jug in the fridge. We would highly recommend this house.

Exceeded expectations.

Property was very well presented. Great relaxing location.House was extremely clean and well supplied with supplies etc. Way more than expected. Every thing in perfect working order in the house. Great family beach just a 10 min walk from property. Very family oriented. Owner was very easy to communicate with if needed. I would highly recommend as relaxing environment. I will return without hesitation.

Ocean Front Cottage

Thank you for opening your house to us! We greatly enjoyed our stay and made some wonderful memories! Also thank you for being pet friendly!House is very comfortable, clean, and as desirable on the website. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy quiet and relaxing vacation! When you are staying in Bayswater, don’t miss farmer markets in Hubbard on Saturday and Lunenberg on Thursday! Both are amazing! Thanks again!

A slice of paradise

A wonderful property in a great location on the south shore of Nova Scotia. Close to Bayswater Beach and an easy drive to both Hubbards and Chester. Heather is a wonderful host and the property is well equipped and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Beautiful!

The cottage was beautiful! Very clean and stocked with extras (spices, tea…) The owners were very easy to reach and answered any questions we had. It was a little out of the way for some activities, but worth it. Can see the ocean from almost every room and the ocean breeze in the afternoon/evening was very relaxing.The kids liked having the loft area with their own bathroom. We would definitely stay here again should we return to Nova Scotia.

Wonderful Home and View!

The home looked exactly as the pictures showed. It was spotless, roomy and had a beachy vibe to it. It had everything we required for our stay and the hosts were responsive and very helpful! The view was spectacular - we enjoyed our morning coffees watching dolphins and a seal from the dock. A buck and doe visited the property a few times. I would highly recommend staying here. We toured to surrounding towns during the day and returned to the comfort of the house each evening. We would 100% stay here again. It’s a beautiful home and even better view!

Best Ocean Front Rental!

Beautiful home! Ultra clean! Floor to ceiling windows along the entire front of the house! Perfect views of the bay every day, regardless of the weather. Secluded, but there are neighbors behind. The host was amazing. So welcoming, so friendly, kind and helpful. We arrived late on a rainy, foggy night. Too late to stop at a store. We found lights on, coffee, English muffins, and jam for our breakfast. So very thoughtful!! We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a rugged, rustic landscape with a lovely house facing the bay! Perfect!

Location was perfect and the property was incredible. We enjoyed a fully functional kitchen and the most spectacular view of the ocean. The house was immaculately clean and very cozy. A true gem

This property was above and beyond our expectations. The nearby beach is calm and perfect for kids. Not only is it well equipped, but the location is tranquil and has an incredible view of the ocean and the coast. We would return in a heartbeat.

We were only there two days but lovely. Only complaint was the weather but we learned a long time ago not to let that ruin our time away! Well equipped with everything we needed. If you stay go to the Tuna Blue for a meal ..awesome food and a lovely place to go…

Hidden Gem

My family were the first people to book this property on VRBO and we were not disappointed by our early decision to head back to Lunenburg County this summer. The cottage is in beautiful Bayswater- only minutes from my favourite East Coast beach. The location is secluded so it required some forward planning in terms of buying groceries and other essentials but we adored the quiet and serene locale. Our favourite part was daily visits from a new “deer” friend. The cottage itself is pristine and well cared for. Heather was a very attentive host and she made the whole process extremely easy. The washer and dryer on site proved essential given all the beach towels we were going through. Having beach chairs provided and a charcoal BBQ were nice surprises! I would not hesitate to book this property again and I highly recommend others check it out. Especially if you have never been to NS. It’s location offers the best of both worlds- a quiet and serene locale but close enough to the tourist spots in Chester, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. We played a few rounds of scenic golf, ate phenomenal seafood and visited the caves at “The Ovens”. We were so sad to leave….

Excellent cottage. Great hosts. Only issues are: Only one shower. Upstairs has a nice standalone bath, but no shower. It's located about 20 minutes from stores, in either direction, which might be an issue for some.

Home away from home😊

My son and I had an absolutely amazing time at this property. We are very familiar with the area and it was a wonderful base to see family, explore our favorite villaged, and to just chill to the sights and sounds of the ocean. The house is stunning and has everything you need for an easy stay. The kitchen is well-stocked with basics and there was plenty of soap/dishwasher tabs/laundry detergent/toiletried to keep us clean! We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, an easy 1km walk and I took frequent advantage of the Adirondack chairs on the shore for my morning coffee and evening wine. The owners were very responsive and clearly take pride in tbis wonderful propery. Our only suggestion would be to provide a propane bbq. We really like to grill in the summer, but don't always want the hassle of charcoal. We would love to rent again in the future.
