It was exactly what was presented. It was only a short ride to town. The towels, bedding and robes were lovely and soft and I enjoyed the care taken to choose quality soap and shampoo. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Incredibly clean & uncluttered!!! A beautiful & welcoming location that was safe & comfortable. Unlike so many other rentals this place had NO air fresheners & NO odors!!! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Very clean & cozy place with quality linens & a very comfortable mattress. There was unexpectedly complimentary coffee & toiletries as well, giving this a “VRBO meets hotel” feel. The view of the lake from the breakfast nook and waking up to the sounds of waves lapping the shore does not disappoint. There is also a well maintained path to the beach that offers a great spot for a morning cup of coffee or wading in the lake before staring the day. The WiFi is a bit slow but it wasn’t a problem for us. This trip was about disconnecting to enjoy the sights & sounds together before my daughter heads off to college.

Nice and Quiet by the Lake!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was peaceful and clean and just what we expected. We loved the lake view as well as the little beach to call our own. The check-in and check-out instructions were nice and simple and the place had everything we needed for our two day getaway.

The unit is small, but comfy and clean. Very nice views and right on the lake. Very quiet area. Was easy to get to all we wanted to do and see. If you are in need of internet, would suggest booking elsewhere as it did not work. Was told the owners on the same service said it was fine.

Very clean and convenient

This property is exactly as decribed in the posting. Very convenient location just north of downtown Bayfield with an easy drive. The place was very clean and the owners responded to our questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend staying here. Bonus is there is a shipwreck just off the shore in front of the place. We enjoyed watching all of the tourists come and look at it.

Peaceful and beautiful place for two

The property was very clean and comfortable. Perfect place for crashing at the end of a hard day of adventures and sightseeing. Don’t plan on cooking here. Just a coffeemaker and microwave, but that exactly what we prefer. 😉

Highly Recommended

Was a very nice quiet setting! If you are looking for privacy…look no further! The only two issues we had…was we rented both units and one of them had an extreme perfume smell, I’m guessing the renters before us sprayed something to cover up a smell. The second issue was a personal preference on bed hardness…one of us couples is used to a hard bed and liked the bed, we on the other hand are used to foam and the mattress was too hard! Other than those two things we highly recommend these units!

Nice location

This property is a duplex but our neighbors were unobtrusive. It is in a quiet spot on the lake, but close enough to Bayfield. It was a nice retreat.

Serenity with a beautiful view

A beautiful peaceful place to relax! The view of the lake, the access to a little beach and a fire pit added to the peacefulness. It is a quick drive to Bayfield and various hiking trails. We loved watching and listening to the night kayakers viewing the ship wreckage. The property was very clean and had all you needed. The bathrobes were a nice added touch!

Little Gem outside Bayfield

We had a wonderful stay at Deperry’s on the Lake. Very quiet spot about 10 minutes from Bayfield. Our unit looked out on Lake Superior right were the Fedora ship wreck is. Has everything you need, even a grill and fire pit. Would highly recommend

Birthday trip

We wanted to get away from all the noise of the city and that’s exactly what this location gave us! The sounds of nature and the lake outside was such a soothing experience. We drove into Bayfield for dinner and for our kayak tour, and it’s such an easy and beautiful drive!
