"Great location in Bayfield. Comfortable bed. House keeping staff were friendly and helpful. Front reception day staff not very friendly or approachable. Bathroom floor cracked- needs to be replaced. Room was 60 degrees when we arrived. Could not adjust temperature. Fireplace would not heat room. It was like staying in a refrigerator."

"The Ashwood Inn is a lovely place to stay in Central Huron. It’s very close to Grand Bend, Goderich and Bayfield. Many of the best beaches on Ontario’s West Coast are just minutes away. I would highly recommend staying here as the rooms are spacious, it’s very quiet, and the staff were very helpful."

"All good but no kitchen facilities except a small fridge(was given a microwave when asked). Above a Crabby Joe's so can get loud at night. Have to pay for parking. Nice bathroom and bed, and seating area on the deck. Walking distance to beach."

"Pro: Parking was in the Crabby Joes lot, easily accessible to room. Cons: parking is tight. Large neon sign directly shining in room 24/7 and the blind on the door leaves a 2 foot gap. Neighbours beside us were smoking on the patio blowing directly in our window. Back exit was propped open with a pan and shoes everywhere on the staircase. Door on main street was the only one locked. Our room was meh. Bed was extremely hard and pillows were flat. There was garbage in the fridge and freezer....

"We were looking forward to our stay in grand bend for over a month. The one word I would use for my stay is unprofessional. -Check in process is walking into a bar and asking for my room key. The bartender has to go and ask for the owner in the back.- The room was fine other than the bathroom. It was clearly redone which is fine, the door obviously was put in last when they realized the door wouldnt open because it would hit the toilet.So they cut a hole in the door so it would slide over the...
