  • Gorgeous home situated 1/2 mile to the beach, 3 mins from Olde Town Bay St Louis, MS and the Marina. Plenty of parking on property if you decide to bring your boat. Covered parking under the home and a lounge area. 2 balconies with seating for enjoying sunrises, sunsets, and good times. Large open floor plan with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Newly renovated, and all new appliances, including two sets of washing machine and dryers. We are dog lovers, and a huge grassy lawn awaits your pets. We welcome your family to our comfortable home with all you need to have a wonderful stay!

Overloved

We’ve stayed in this house for 3 years. First, I must say that our host is terrific. The house has become worn and needs some TLC. Furniture is filthy-I wouldn’t sit on it. The towels are almost threadbare. Bathroom floors have dirt waxed into them. The dryer on 1 side was unusable because it squealed while running. The amenities are wonderful, but these couple of things really bummed us out. Especially the condition of the gathering area furniture. Great house for big family!! Hope the owners will do some upgrading.

Absolutely Wonderful!!

Our group used this property for a staff retreat. The house was perfect. The open living area accommodated during meals and hanging out as a large group.. We took advantage of the smaller sitting spaces on the porch and the board game area for small group or one on one conversations or playing games. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for larger groups. The rooms were clean and spacious. On top of all that, the house is just a short walk over to the bay. You can see it from the porch. The owners were easily reached for check-in and check-out and they were very kind. We were very pleased with our stay!

Dirty and Lack of Communication

The home was dirty. The bathroom floors looked like they had not been swept or mopped in quite some time. One of the toilets had something black splattered all over the bowl. We had to clean the bathtub before bathing my grandchild in it. Two of the beds had sand in the sheets. I called the property manager the next morning and left a voice message. She did not try to contact me back until 4:00 that evening but I was at an event and could not answer the phone. I called her again the next day but she did not answer and there was no option to leave a message. I emailed the owner the first morning and never received a reply. There also were no instructions given on check out procedures. Very poorly maintained and managed. Worst VRBO I've ever stayed in.

Thanksgiving Getaway

We celebrated Thanksgiving with family in BSL this year. House was very spacious and close to downtown. Property is close proximity to Hwy, so noisy at night. Nice yard and plenty of room under house for outdoor activities. Needs some upgrading though. Enjoyed our stay and will be back!!!

Experience

The door code didn’t work upon arrive but property manager but was super quick answering the phone and getting it situated with new code. Ice & water maker don’t work. Roaches were pretty common inside. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels like stated in the listing FOR SURE. Only place we have ever stayed that has not provided them, everywhere is different. Super hard to get in contact with anyone prior to stay. Had to send lots of messages to finally get one response. We booked months in advance. I ended up having to call VRBO twice and they could not contact anyone either for my questions, only response I ever received from anyone was an approval for an extra night. As we were trying to check out a car continued to circle the property and proceed to park right out front of the house and sit and wait. Our thoughts were the cleaning lady, but didn’t feel comfortable stopping and asking her. Precious home but coming from a full time property manager, myself, this place could absolutely be ran better. So much potential here.

Problem

The house was great. We had a problem with the cable and internet so for the entire stay we were not able to watch television( We had 3 children) and adults were not able to get online. We had 1 family that had to leave because he was working remotly and was not able to stay and work

House is nice but can hear Highway 90 noise all night. House is comfortable and spacious.

We enjoyed our stay. Couldn’t get TVs to work in bedrooms and some of the remotes were missing. Also, need for towels for a house that is advertised to sleep 10 people. Not enough towels for 10 people to all bath in same given day. Should have 10 towels of each size (1 full set per guest)

Very close the old town Bay Area. The home was very clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Outstanding, rented the home for Cruise the Coast weekend and we spent 95% of our time outside enjoying h the area. We will rent again.

Good location!

Location was perfect! The house was nice and decorated well. Eating, shopping and public beach were less than a 5 minute drive. We had a group of 9 and there was plenty of room for all. There are additional charges for more than 6 guests, even though it says sleeps 10 and there’s a total of 7 beds, so watch out. There was cockroaches in the kitchen at night. We had to buy bait and spray. Other than those 2 issues we enjoyed our stay.
