4th of July Family Vacation

It was the perfect space for a family of 10. We had a wonderful time. We bought our boat and enjoyed all the amenities the property offers. Close to everything and quiet neighborhood.

Nice retreat!

House was nicely appointed inside, plenty of room in the common area. Couches and beds are comfortable, bathrooms were nice as well. Great spot at the end of a quiet street. Dock worked well for the boat we brought with us, great access to fishing.

Communication

Once arriving we discovered the 3rd full bathroom was not available due to plumbing issue downstairs which also included the game room area. So, basically game room and full bathroom was not accessible. This was not communicated with us. It was very inconvenient because we had 8 adults and purposely book a house with 3 full bathrooms.

When we booked the house , I was told there was a dock and an elevator for my physically disabled husband. The dock was in shambles and floating in the water. The night we arrived , the elevator stopped working. On Sunday, we texted Tanya, the Hospitality Specialist, several times before we realized we were getting an automatic message. I called the number and was told it wasn’t the correct one, but was given the right number. Tanya was very helpful in trying to call a repairman but due to it being on a Sunday, no one could come until lunchtime on Monday. 2 Repairmen came and fixed the broken microwave and ordered a new garbage disposal. During this time, the elevator repairman came and didn’t notify anyone of us,but the elevator was working and we used it until Thursday when the property owner,Shawn,told us it we shouldn’t use it anymore, according to the elevator repairman. This caused stress for everyone in our party, to get my disabled husband up and down the stairs. I asked to get a partial refund and I did not receive a reply.
This is the dock that was at the house, totally misrepresented as there was a perfectly constructed dock on the VRBO site for the house.

Super nice place and a quiet neighborhood. Great place for big family plenty of room and a nice backyard area with lights.
