First, we loved the property and location! there were a few items that I would recommend watching closer:*Sugar ants in the kitchen*Pool area was not groomed and weeds everywhere. there also wasn't a net to clean bugs that were in the pool. *Washing machine has mold around the ring where door closes.* Porches were dirty/dusty and when the kids would come into the house, the sofa caused undo stress when sitting on outside furniture to inside white sofa!

Yearly Family Vacation

This was by far one of our easiest and most enjoyable experiences! The host was incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions before we arrived. The home itself is beautiful and located in a great area. We rented a golf cart and had the best time exploring the surroundings.10/10 recommend this family-oriented home — thank you for your amazing hospitality!

Post-Mardi Gras beach beauty

Our intergenerational family returned to Tranquility Bay Cottage and treasured it even more this visit, if that is possible. We walked to the beach, built winter sand castles, ordered/dined in on scrumptious food from Mockingbird Cafe, Barracuda, and the Thorny Oyster, played games, read quietly, slept beautifully. We may visit BSL in the summer when this beautiful pool will be a bit warmer!

New Years Eve Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with friends. The home met our needs and everything was taken care of very well. The home had amenities we enjoyed and all aspects of the house were exceptional. The home and property were just like the pictures on VRBO. That has not been the case in so many homes we have rented before. Management was responsive and friendly.

We had the best time here! The entire property was beautiful and a short distance from the beach. We reached out to the owner and she was able to fix something quickly for us. Overall, we had a great time and the home was beautiful.

Our second stay at this house So that tells you how much we like it Super clean, very well appointed home close to town Excellent neighborhood Golf carted around everywhere our host was excellent Had a very minor issue with the key pad battery being weak … they got us in within minutes!!! Very accommodating 5 stars all the way!

Helpful hosts

The property was perfect for our Easter getaway. The night before our departure, I noticed a tire problem that prevented our timely departure. The host was gracious to allow us to stay until the tire issue was resolved. Loved the layout and the proximity to the beach and downtown area. We'll be back!
