  • Unwind in lakes country just outside of Battle Lake at this charming house. With 4 bedrooms including a king bed, 2 queen beds, and more, guests will find a cozy retreat here. The property offers amenities like AC, WiFi, and a washing machine and dryer for an enjoyable stay. Relax in the lovely surroundings and make the most of your time in Battle Lake at our lakefront house. Includes 32' dock with an 8x8 platform with a bench. Perfect area for swimming and floating in Lake Ethal. Only an 8 min. Drive to Battle Lake and a 10 min drive to Ottertail. Ottertail Lake is just 5min. away.

Great lakeside cabin

The cabin had plenty of room for our 50th anniversary celebration with our family! Really enjoyed our time there. Had a wonderful time on Jack’s pontoon. Great place! Would stay there again.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at the A-frame. Super cool property on a quiet a lake. Really close to lots of shops and restaurants as well. Definitely recommend!

Nice home on quiet small lake. A little odd that there were no life jackets for the unpowered water craft available to use. The property was a short walk from an excellent cider house, a real treat to find in an otherwise rural area. The host was very responsive to our needs. I would recommend this property for adults and families with children, but not mobility impaired persons due to stairs and threshold Barriers

A Great Family Getaway

This was a wonderful trip in a lovely cabin on a peaceful lake! Everything was in very nice shape, Jack was very helpful, and we particularly enjoyed the pontoon for fishing and water fun. The cabin set up and decor are an added bonus, with multiple comfortable bedrooms!

Great times!

We stayed 4 nights at the cabin and had a great time. Very kid friendly. Nice yard, fire pit and beach. The cabin is exactly as shown in the pictures. Very quite.

Week Away

Our stay was great! We had a wonderful time, and the property was exactly as shown in pictures and described. Jack was an excellent communicator and was more than willing to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The lake access was perfect, and the pontoon was very nice! We loved it and hope to stay again some time in the future. Thank you!

Wedding weekend

We got married this past weekend at the 1910 sip house. The a frame was the perfect place to stay and it offered easy access to our wedding venue, and allowed our kids a place of rest and escape from the busy events.

We enjoyed our stay at Melissa’s Aframe. From the very beginning her communication with us was informative and helpful. We found the house as advertised and enjoyed all the amenities.The kitchen is sufficient, and we loved the beautiful little lake and the fire pit.

Adorable A Frame

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the A Frame. It’s cute and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. It rained most of the weekend so we were glad it was such a fun place to hang out inside. We walked down the road to the 1910 Sip House both days to enjoy local hard ciders and the fun atmosphere. The host was great with communication. We would definitely stay again!

Peaceful Relaxation at its Best!

The A-Frame Lake Home was absolutely amazing. Very well decorated and stocked with more than we could ever need from the linens and kitchen items to the games and comfy beds and furniture. We loved it and of course we wanted to stay. Plenty of parking and the fishing was great! We will definitely be back! Great Hosts. Many Thanks.

Great Lake house

We loved our stay at Battle Creek. The cabin was unique, cozy and immaculate. The location of the cabin to Glendalough State Park, Battle Creek, Ottertail and Perham made it accessible to get food and restaurants. Jack (the owner) made it hard to want to go anywhere else. The had the essentials and made cooking a breeze however most of our nights were spent by the firepit near the lake. All in all it was a great family vacation and we look forward to going back soon!
