"This house is perfect for a family getaway. It's a short drive to Buckroe Beach, local parks and downtown. The neighborhood is full of families and children. The house itself is beautifully decorated to give you that "I'm on vacation at the beach" vibe. "Host is communicative and relaxed (not trying to micromanage your stay). I forgot to check the pics and descriptions for a microwave but there isn’t one. Alternatively, there is a hot plate and a pot. I gave 4 out of 5 stars due to the coffeemaker not working and having one washcloth for two people but it was pleasant other than that. "

"Great stay, the house is very conveniently located (50 feet to the beach, 0.5 mile to a Harris Teeter). There's some beach stuff (chairs, a beach cart, an umbrella, a few body boards). A few things to consider when renting this house:1. Bring a few knives. The ones that are there are super dull2. Bring spices, sugar, and salt 3. There's no AC in the smaller bedroom. "Great little home away from home. Came to visit my granddaughter that's in the Navy. Nice place to just sit and play games and visit. Couldn't get in at first but the owners answered the phone and took care of it right away. Would definitely stay here again!"
