Great location for a stay in Bath

We stayed at the Haystack as a group of friends for a weekend. The place is a fantastic size and location, being only a short walk from the centre of town. It is obviously a popular place and there were some signs that the decor could do with an update, but this did not detract from the overall experience.

Perfect Central Location for a big group

I booked this property for my best friends hen party weekend and we really loved it! Very central location, close to a huge supermarket (Waitrose), close to the town centre for great shopping, spa, pubs, restaurants and clubs. It slept 14 of us comfortably and the kitchen was well equipped. Great living room area to chill out in a big group. Very easy check in & out process and the hosts are very responsive and accommodating. The Indian restaurant downstairs does amazing takeaway!

Fabulous house

Haystack was a wonderful place to stay for a ladies weekend. Great location, very well equipped and the most comfortable beds. Cannot fault this property, it was fabulous.

A great base to explore Bath centre

We booked this apartment for a family gathering of 14 people. Overall, the property met our expectations well and we had a good stay. In particular, the lounge area was great for socialising and we cannot fault the wonderful view. One parking permit was provided which meant that a car could be kept fairly close, not that we needed to use it. The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious. The bagging system for rubbish and recycling was a little hard to understand at first, but was actually very convenient. A few minus points, however: The internet was lousy (the manager promised to look into this and I didn't see other neg comments in the reviews). The bathrooms were ok but two are very small and there were small problems with a dodgy shower door and a small leak in the upstairs double sink. Shower pressure was good with lots of hot water. These negatives were well within what I would find acceptable generally, especially with such an old house and with so many beds. I think you will have a good stay here if you think it is suitable.

Beautiful Home... Centrally located with easy access to the beauties and wonders of Bath ❤️❤️❤️

We loved our stay at in Bath and we are definitely coming back . We were a group of 11 ladies and the house was spacious enough for us and did not give us a feeling of being cramped in. Kitchen was well equipped but things like a blender would be a much welcomed addition to the house. Also a nice coffee machine would be appreciated for such a grand home. Also a small hoover would be nice if we wanted to do a quick clean. Bedroom were very comfortable , mattress were perfect but the pillows were really not nice and too soft . Spare bathroom floor mats would have been welcomed. Internet was very bad and did not work during our 6 days stay. Sara and Alexia were very professional and prompt with email replies. We had a problem with the dish washer and it was rectified quickly. All in all we loved our 6 days here and will definitely be coming back .

Top pad for a city break in beautiful Bath

We were a group of 14 (age range 22yrs - 50ish!!) and we could not fault the location, the layout of the apartment, the facilities (although one shower room was a bit smelly) and the attention to detail. Could not really be much closer to all the shops/restaurants and bars. It was quiet enough for a city apartment, felt very safe and secure. Clean and beautifully presented. We are not a fussy bunch of birds but equally like things to be of a good standard. We got what we paid for and were very satisfied. Great value for money!

location excellent

Lovely central apartment for a large group.Thoughtfully furnished although some in need of renewing, eg table/chairs in lounge. Smell from café below was a little overpowering at times. All in all the location is hard to beat.

Lovely, beatifully furnished, contemporary apartment.

Gorgeous apartment with great decor. Everything you could need provided. Lovely and warm even over a very wet and chilly weekend in November. Extremely central location with everything only a short stroll away. Would thoroughly recommend!
