My wife’s grandparents live just a mile and half from the Zen River Property. The Harmony House was perfect for my wife, our infant son, and me. Our family was supposed to stay in the River House, but unfortunately they had to cancel. It would have been great though, but we can’t recommend either property enough. Andy was a fantastic host. We will definitely recommend this property and hope to be back.

Me and my brother stayed here for work. Was able to enjoy the riverside with some fishing and grilling. Our trip was cut short due to work but the area is awesome with great views. The neighbor was very friendly as we one could expect in the great state of Texas. All around wonderful place

Andy has created a welcoming, soothing experience. Our accommodations were perfect, and we especially enjoyed sitting on our balcony, in perfect weather, listening to the birds and wind chimes.

We had a great time at this cozy studio loft apartment. Great location for downtown Bastrop and Bastrop state park with amazing river access. We will be back, hopefully with friends, in the bigger house!

Our arrival was met with the beauty of the place. So peaceful and serene. We enjoyed relaxing by the river and on the deck. The host was very friendly and attentive. Will stay here again if opportunity comes.

My husband and I came with her two adult children and stayed in the cabin, harmony house. Andy was on point and helped us achieve a perfect vacation weekend. He even dropped us off down the road so we could tube down the river and gave us Perfect instructions on where to park our car after our river trip. The grounds are so incredibly peaceful. Both nights we spent in the hammocks, looking at the stars. We could honestly not have asked for a better weekend. Andy's kindness and help had everything to do with its success. I could've stayed for a whole week! We will be back!

Wanted to take my 16-year-old child for a kayak tour on his birthday settle on the Colorado river family, lovely harmony house, which is in our price range. I am a public school educator. My funds are limited and it fit us so very well was quiet we were close to the river. The birds the deer were lovely And the host. Andy was a text away.

My best friend and I came out to Harmony House for a long weekend, and it was the perfect place to relax and hang out. There were lots of great spots all over the property to sit and enjoy the view, but our favorite was a tiled section of stairs right on the river. The house was very cosy and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Thanks Andy!

So much love and care has gone into Harmony House that it clearly shows! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we were just blown away by how welcome Andy made us feel. The house itself is cozy and clean with a nice bed, awesome loft space, and 2nd floor deck. The bathroom was well-stocked with towels and some little travel amenities in case we forgot ours. Walking through the property was an experience all on its own. There are so many little nooks for secluded relaxation, an outdoor grilling area, and the seating by the river was out of this world. I could have spent all day in the greenhouse watching the fish! Expect to drive about 5-8 minutes to get out of the neighborhood. The property is tucked way back and you need to navigate several blind 90 degree turns on a gravel road. It took us about 10 minutes to get to downtown Bastrop and about 30 to get to Austin. Such a great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city!

The property of the Harmony House is amazing. I was specifically looking for a place on the river to have a marriage ceremony. My honey and I were married under the cottonwood closest to the river along side our two boys and my parents. Andy was so accommodating and allowed me to create how I saw the vision of the alter under the tree and I’m so grateful! My kids loved the River and the ceremony that took place was very special for all of us. I recommend staying at here

Repeat customer here. I can’t say enough good things! Love the location to downtown Bastrop, and the property is right on the river..it’s the perfect escape from the city. We came to kayak the 6-mile El Camino Real trail…if you haven’t kayaked before..do it..it was an easy paddle. Dropped in at Fisherman’s Park and paddled down to the Colorado River Refuge. It took about 2-hours..it was super relaxing..loved it. The host, Andy,..hands down the best host ever. Nicest guy who is so friendly and makes you feel welcomed. He came down once we arrived to discuss kayak take-out points from the river to his property..but we opted to go down to the Colorado River Refuge instead. If you haven’t checked out the wonderful town of Bastrop..you are missing out! Definitely book the Harmony House..you will not be disappointed! Can’t wait to come back this autumn to do the 14-mile El Camino Real Trail from Utley to Fisherman’s Park! Thank you Andy..you rock!!
