Atrás da praia existe uma lagoa que à época exalava um cheiro forte de mangue. Cockleshell Bay is a bay of clean water and calm sea. The beach is good for kids. At the time I visited it, the infrastructure was small, with only one bar and one restaurant. The sand was contaminated with many algae, but I was informed that some of the algae are left on the beach because they are part of a micro ecosystem. Behind the beach there is a lagoon that at the time exuded a strong swamp smell.

Our host was great at giving us the scoop on all the great things to see and do on St Kitts! We had a wonderful stay and waking up to the most gorgeous view of Nevis was paradise. You can see the sunrise every morning from the balcony and watch the kite surfers from the deck. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Our local host- Dwayne was awesome- highly recommend renting one of his well maintained vehicles while on island. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Great house overlooking Nevis. Plenty of room, beautiful grounds, convenient to cockleshell beach / Reggae beach and the Nevis Water taxi. Quiet and secluded, the house is down a long dirt road then up a steep hill, but that's how you get solitude and views. Already thinking about rebooking.

Check in was simple as Dwayne met us at the airport and drove us to the house. The kitchen was well equipped and most meals were cooked at house other than special nights out and venture to Nevis. Great trip great island to slow down and relax. Of course views were spectacular.

Family Vacation

We spent a week here to celebrate the 50th anniversary of my husband’s parents. The house was AMAZING! Wayne and his property manager, Dwayne, were always available and helpful. The pool and deck area were loved by all three generations and the bedrooms and bathrooms suited our group perfectly. There were nice restaurants and beach access nearby. We would definitely come back and hope to one day soon!

Overall. Great house the pictures are accurate. Great views. Wonderful setup. Dwayne was a great support and quick to respond. House was close to some Wonderful beaches. People were very friendly. The only two issues were the dirt road to get to the house was very poor to drive on. Turtle beach was full of the sea grass floating on to the beach. Not very walkable. Both things the owners had no control over. Many islands are experiencing that. Other beaches on Caribbean side were good. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Absolutely Amazing

We keep returning to St Kitts, and we keep staying here. Once you stay in Turtle Beach, you don't want to leave. The beautiful sunrises, the gentle breezes, and the quietness are just what we are looking for in a vacation. You have privacy with the 4 separate bedrooms and a great gathering table for family dinners and games. The washer and dryer is so handy! When you sit outside in the courtyard, you feel like you are in your own private mini jungle.The island is laid back, and some things are island time, so be prepared to have a little patience. Can't wait to return next year!

9 days in paradise

This was our 4th visit to St Kitts and 3rd villa in the Turtle Beach area. We found this villa to be the most homey/comfortable yet. The AC in the bedrooms was very good, even for us northerners. It's great when you can drink the tap water with out getting ill too. The views are spectacular from the villa. A quick drive to many excellent restaurants and the Park Hyatt if you should choose to do a day pass and spa treatments there. Make reservations at the Orchid Bay restaurant for an increible experience!

Just like a dream!!

We stayed at this magnificent property for 1 week in November 2024 and truly enjoyed every minute. As many of the other reviews already mention the location is fantastic and perfect for some time to disconnect, relax and explore. Our favorite was the amazing views to Nevis and the mornings, just when the sun rises and make this place magical. Turtle Beach was not for us and we didn't snorkel or hang out there, we preferred Cockleshell beach as the beach is wider, water better suited for kids and Reggae Beach Bar was great also. You do need a vehicle do explore the island and renting from Dwayne was as simple as it gets. Highly recommend to rent from him - Bullseye Auto Rental. He will meet you at the airport when you arrive and when you depart, very easy and smooth process. During our stay we rented a cabana at the Park Hyatt for a day, very nice place basically around the corner from Cockleshell beach. A bit pricey but worth it for a day - finished the evening with dinner at Spice Mill! We also took the Scenic Railway Tour around the island, which was a great experience. If you plan to visit St. Kitts you simple can't do any better than staying at Wayne & Annie's Villa!

Beautiful villa - incredible views

We enjoyed our week at Turtle Beach in this beautiful home. Much of our time on property was spent in the welcoming pool. The house had all the towels and kitchen amenities we needed, the owners and property manager were very responsive to my many, many questions.

Absolutely gorgeous!

If you have a chance to stay at this property...DO IT! House was great; plenty of space and everything you could need for your comfort. The best part is the view! There's no place on the island that can beat it! Communication was great; very responsive and they provided awesome info on places/restaurants to visit while on St Kitts. We rented a car when there and while the hills aren't for the faint of heart, getting around was pretty easy. Thanks so much to the Walkers we hope to be back there one day!

"That it's the salt that's in our tears 'Cause we could have come so very far In at least as many years!...." back to Namaste ! 3rd year here in a row, the beauty never gets old....the calmness of the dawn greeting you each perfectly weathered day is what we loved best... just stunning to look out on the sea from most places in the house....we feel so connected to the sea when we arrive, just amazing...."A song I heard the ocean sing" Really is paradise....this home is perfect, clean, cool decor, earthy Caribbean feel, amazing pool we spent hours in! easy walk to the beach to collect shells......etc etc....I rate this home as highly as you can.....perfefct rental in paradise !!! Incredible Views; Easy Access to Water/Restaurants

Impeccible views of Nevis and Turtle Beach. Open kitchen with all required amenities. Property Manager completed some concierge shopping to save us time on our first day. Wonderful setup for family or with friends.
