Everything was great. The views were wonderful and Seafood Ketch restaurant which is only 2 minutes from the home was an excellent place to eat. The home just needs a little upkeep.

Beautiful location

Stayed here when my husband ran the MDI Marathon. Great location to the finish line. 30 minutes from bar harbor which didn’t bother us. Our dog also loved the property. The views can not be beat.

Friends and Family Getaway

This cute cottage is located perfectly on Bass Harbor. The view is beautiful and classic for New England. We watched gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from the deck. The master is roomy. All beds were very comfy and inviting. The loft is very cozy! All points of interest are in easy driving distance. Lots of restaurants and cute shops close by. The cottage is more a bit more rustic than the photos depicted. While it had everything we needed, it could use some TLC. The cabinetry is very worn, and the main shared bathroom needs to be updated. The shower stall is too small for a man and the shower floor was stained with dirt. The towel rack was broken. The dining table has no lighting above. Creature comforts are lacking, such as area rugs, lamps, and blankets. We had a wonderful time, and the positives far outweighed the negatives. We highly recommend taking the Bass Harbor boat tour, kayaking on Long Pond, and ANP, of course!

Perfect vacation rental

We had a great time in Acadia National Park and this rental was the perfect location to easily get to so many trails and towns. The house looks exactly like the photos, it was clean, comfortable furniture and beds, and gorgeous views. The check in and check out process was simple and streamlined.

The location was accurately described. The check in and communication were clear. The imperfect rating really reflects the overall cleanliness. Shower had hair from the previous guests, dead bugs on the window sills and grimy kitchen surfaces. A simple fix once the cleaning service is made aware.

Lovely and relaxing cottage near Acadia national park

The home was very clean and inviting. The modern family room and dining room were a lovely place to gather and relax during our stay. The deck provided an additional place to relax and unwind. The check-in and check-out processes were so easy. It was a lovely place to stay for our vacation. If I were to provide any feedback for improvement, I would only say that the second shower was a little small for adults, but we made it work. Also, I know this is beyond your control but you might prepare people for the large changes in water levels.

Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect cabin with lots of space for our family of four. Location was great. Off of the beaten path but not in the middle of nowhere! Very easy to get to Acadia/Bar Harbor. Only negative is that the cabin could really use some updates. Check-in process was super easy and the washer/dryer came in handy. Would DEFINITELY stay there again!

Enjoyable cottage in Bass Harbor

The location was great for us because we liked being away from the bigger crowds in Bar Harbor yet it allowed very convenient access to hiking on the west side of Acadia. We enjoyed sunsets from the deck and the view from the large windows. New flooring and furniture were appreciated, lower level beds were comfortable.

Stunning views!

This place has absolutely stunning views! I wish we could have stayed longer. Host was so helpful and everything was just perfect. Drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia were very easy. I hope we get to come back to Maine to stay here again soon.

Overlooking Bass Harbor bay.

The location is awesome overlooking the bay. This was a last minute vrbo selection for us and we could not have been happier. Looking out the windows to view the boats and harbor was like a post card of Maine come true. Although it was just the two of us, the house can easily accommodate 6 people. 2 bathrooms are always a bonus. Communication with the property management was excellent.

Airy and bright inside. Big deck with beautiful water view!

Bright, airy, spacious the moment you walk in. Many large windows with broad, private, lovely Maine sea view. Older cabin that has new, light flooring and tasteful, comfortable, new furnishings including beds. Master suite can be closed off. Practical kitchen. 5 min drive to very pleasant Southwest Harbor and 30 minutes from popular, though crowded, Bar Harbor or Acadia NP Visitor Center. 2 excellent lobster restaurants about 5 mins away- Beals and Thurstons. My husband and I loved our time there!
