The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. We stayed in the family room and it was absolutely fine for what we needed but a bit rough around the edges - the bunk beds were good for the kids and there were two bathrooms which was a bonus. A repeat stay for us was excellent -- the hotel is comfortable, quiet with good aircon and walking distance to anything in Buxton. Note access to the indoor and outdoor pools is now paid-for separately (does not come included with bed and breakfast rates).
