Stay away!
This is a trailer that I suspect does not meet code. A ladder leads to the bed in a “loft” (where you can barely sit; let alone stand). Going to the bathroom at night is dangerous. I don’t want to imagine being stuck in the case of a fire! The place is clean and fairly well equipped but in the summer you have to keep the blinds down during the day and it makes you feel totally claustrophobic. My husband did not even want to stay a single night and found a bigger hotel room with kitchenette right across the street for less money. The security is a joke! The Passcode never changes and is super basic so anybody could walk in. The management is not friendly and provides nothing but a written set of rules on what not to do. In essence: don’t bother!

As mentioned in the description, the property is described as a tiny home with a loft style bed. I am sorry to hear that this went unnoticed. The codes for both the main and back-up lockbox are changed regularly to ensure the safety of our guests and the information we provided includes requests for our Guests to have the best experience possible. We hope despite the rocky start, you and your husband had a nice visit to the area and got a chance to explore the amazing town of Basalt and the Roaring Fork Valley!

Great place to stay
My wife and I came up to hike the Bells and enjoyed using this as a place to relax and recover. The tiny home build out is of high quality and we enjoyed the experience.

Great tiny house
We had a blast. Easy access to Carbondale and Basalt by car as well as Aspen. Great space in the woods outside. Tiny house was great inside, had everything we needed. Thanks for having us!

Loved the set up and it was a nice location. Heated bathroom floor was the bomb. I had a spider and ant problem (in the wintertime) which was gross. The heating is also an issue - gets really hot in the loft area and still cold down below. I would also suggest a newer, more space efficient futon and a rectangular small table instead of square (would be much easier to move around). It would be good to make sure the walk is shoveled. Otherwise, people cut through on the ground which make the place really dirty. Hopefully this helps. Karen

Cool Little Tiny Home.
The tiny home served my stay perfectly for the week I was there. It has every thing a single traveler or couple could need. would stay again when I'm back in the area.

Perfect Tiny Home Get Away
Stayed here for the weekend. Location was close to Aspen but with a secluded feel! The host was very accommodating.
