"I had a great stay for the second time. The unit is well situated on the river, only a short walk to the shops. The unit has been recently update and has everything you may need (except an oven). There are BBQ and laundry (gold coin) facilities, as well as outdoor seating onsite. Would definitely stay here again. Owners are welcoming and responsive to queries. "

"A complete disconnect from what is shown. Dark, gloomy, Mitch, small and cramped. The welcome link is broken, no guide with the WiFi instructions. No way to contact the absent manager. No smoke detector in the bedroom, and stuffy air (no makeup air.) We couldn’t sleep, it was just a terrible disappointment."

"Picketts Cottage was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed and more. It was quiet and only a block away from the town centre. The dossier on the coffee table covering the tourist attractions, amenities and hospitality venues was amazing as it also included an informative history of Ned Kelly and the Kelly gang. We would certainly stay here again."

"The room had a hole in the wall, there was a broken window, the carpet was dirty, there were a lot of cobwebs in the ceiling, and the noise during the night coming from the pub was too much to bear. There is no restroom inside the room, although, the 4 shared restrooms were ok. I would totally not recommend this place."
