"A lovely location and great facilities. Great staff and bar area had a lovely atmosphere. Morning breakfast was delicious with attentive staff. Rooms were very quiet, hotel had a lift which is very convent as the steps are steep to the 2nd floor. The rooms are a little tired and the bathroom window privacy screening is in desperate need of replacement. Kettle is completely scaled up and cups were also dirty so this needs to be addressed. "Room & bathroom were small but clean a well kept, very near road , unable to have windows open due to a warm evening. The room did have AC"

"The staff, in particular, the receptionists including the charming Lithuanian girl, were so helpful and informative. The food was pretty good as well and well presented. Having had to slum it in a rival establishment a few years’ ago, when there was no room at Poets Corner, it was a relief to note how well looked after we were."
