Fremington is a major community in North Devonshire, situated between Yelland and Barnstaple. The community is noted for its quay, a historic port for importing and exporting commodities, as well as its location near the River Taw. Han Court and The Fox are two popular local restaurants, and the neighbouring Co-op can be used to stock up on basics. The lively town of Bideford, which is close to Fremington, has additional attractions such as The Ultimate Adventure Centre and the Bideford Railway Heritage Centre. Barnstaple, with its Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon, Barnstaple Pannier Market, and a variety of local cafés and bars, is also a short car ride away.
