"We had a racing break their it was vey good and clean the only negative was the evening meal finished at 7 we were 2 late. And no breakfast . We could only have 1 coffee each as their was no coffee sachets and milk cartains. When the bar closed"

"There is a reason this is a three star hotel. Despite some pleasant room decor and very helpful staff there are many things that let it down. Exterior is shoddy, rooms look over a busy road or a busy courtyard- both are noisy when windows are open in warm weather. "The Inn is perfectly located for enjoying Kirkby Stephen. The staff - especially Jacqui - is super helpful and kind. Really enjoyed our brief time there. Our friends who stayed down the street were wishing they had booked here. Be prepared to carry luggage upstairs and know the bed isn’t super big by American standards. "

"We booked the cottage and were so glad we did. The photos although good, don’t really do it justice. The bedroom opens out onto a spacious balcony with good quality wooden table and chairs. The view is very serene, as you can see the river. The hot tub is really amazing. It was very clean and we were shown how to use it properly. If anything it was a little hot at 40c. It kept this heat for several hours. Bathroom was beautiful. Living room immaculate. And a 2nd bathroom with toilet and shower....
