Very clean, modern house. Well furnished. Well equipped kitchen with drip coffee maker and Keurig. Wooded area surrounding house with fairly steep terrain. 18 to 20 minutes from great restaurants in Weaversville. Nice bedding and baths with fantastic towels. Highly recommend.

I like out of the way places, and this certainly is. If you don't like being 20 minutes away from a town center, then this may not be for you. The surroundings are beautiful and serene. There is a zipline company across the street, and we could hear occasional joyful screaming. The house is very clean and modern. The kitchen has every utensil you can imagine. The only things I missed having were some lidded containers for leftovers, so I just used a pot with a lid. The gas fireplace is beautiful, but be aware that it quickly gets much hotter upstairs than downstairs, and you don't realize it until you go up. The showers are very large, modern and clean. There are no ensuites, but the bathrooms are right across from the bedrooms. The master bedroom is downstairs. All the beds are very comfortable - on the firm side.My only complaint was that grill grates were pretty dirty. Response time and helpfulness from the host was excellent. We met Steve, the owner, and had a great and informative chat. Thanks Steve!The Stoney Knob Cafe in Weaverville is excellent.

Dynamite Ridge Delivers!

Dynamite Ridge is a new, elegantly designed yet comfortable home that served our family so well. The owners equipped their home with all the furnishings and necessities any family could desire. The wrap around balcony and outdoor dining/furnishings allows you to enjoy the outside without dealing with the elements. The fire pit down the hill was an ideal place to stare out to the stars as the embers from the fire flame. Be prepared to experience the remnants of Hurricane Milton as Barnardsville was directly affected by the storm, but we were proud to support the local community however we could. Definitely will be back again to visit soon!

Awesome

Steve the owner came out and had a short visit, adding a personal touch. We've never stayed in a nicer house. Everything we needed was there. I would recommend staying here. The peace and quiet, fireflies, chipmunks, stars at night, time to read and write, were priceless. Did I mention the incredible shower? The soaking tub? And Publix and Aldi close enough!? Thank you Steve and Venna and Lucy!

Wonderful and peaceful retreat

The property itself is beautiful, just like pictured and described. Located in a very peaceful location, easy to find and to access. The home is beautiful, with all the comforts and amenities needed to be a home away from home, including very comfortable beds. Close to many waterfalls, hiking trails, and many scenic places. we would definitely be back!

Family Gathering

This was the perfect getaway for our family of 6. We enjoyed the views of the mountains from the ample porch with comfortable seating. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was spacious. We cooked in the kitchen and relaxed in the Living Room while playing games and watching basketball games. It was the perfect distance from Asheville. The food recommendations in the binder were spot on!! Stoney Knob Cafe was delicious and quirky!

Mountain Paradise

Wonderful, quiet retreat

We had the good fortune to meet the owner, Steve, on our way in. It was fun to trade stories with him about the area. The house is wonderful! The setting is terrific. We enjoyed our mornings, sitting on the deck listening to the birds. We will be coming back next year.

Dynamite Ridge - The perfect home away from home!

My family had the most pleasant 8 day stay at Dynamite Ridge in July 2023! We vacationed in and around Asheville, but did not mind the short drive back to the house each evening. First and foremost, the beds and linens are incredibly comfortable! The view from the master bedroom out into the back deck is gorgeous. The room also includes a large television and walk-in closet! The two guest rooms upstairs are supplied with comfortable beds, nice closets, board games, and each has a nice sized television. The kitchen is set up for prepping meals with an abundance of pots, pans, utensils, etc. We were pleased with large work areas and ample seating. The living room furniture is clean and welcoming. Throw blankets and lounge pillows are available, VERY CLEAN, and comfortable. The laundry machines are not coin operated as mentioned in my signed contract. Just a regular washer and dryer. I came armed with a load of quarters, but that is not necessary. Dynamite Ridge is VERY clean and comfortable overall. I would highly recommend a stay! I will definitely return the next time we visit the area.

Wonderful Home

This house was one of the best I have stayed at. Updated with all the amenities you needed, very clean and comfortable. The outdoor porch was perfect for morning coffee and listening the the sounds of the forest. Only a short drive to Ashville but close to all the outdoor activities you want. We look forward to staying here again.
