The outlook over the Golf Club grounds was pleasant, the facilities were adequate and the room of a reasonable size, parking close and convenient

The size of the suite being im disabled the size bathroom everything about the suite was suitable for my disability. Very happy and wont hesitate to stay there in the future.

We have stayed at this property 3 times and we have enjoyed every time. The only complaint was that the hot water in the shower was a bit hit and miss.

Recommended
A very pleasant location on the edge of a golf course. A large undercover area with bbq is a nice addition. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was a bonus. The bed was very comfortable.

Post GFC/Covid/Murray floods there are significant problems in the riverland that have to be factored into any review. This property is ideal for golfers but there are issues. Our unit had a blocked handbasin sink, a broken sliding door latch, a noisy badly fitted fridge and blown light bulbs. However, the room was spacious, clean and looked out over the golf course (thru' dirty windows). We went for winter sun and unfortunately the elements did not oblige but would like to have played tennis. However, the courts were unserviceable and neglected. On past experience many of these problems are widespread across the sector and it may take some time to restore standards to meet expectations.

Thank you Rick for your detailed review. You stayed with us for 3 nights and we have only just become aware of your issues. If we are made aware during your stay, we can rectify most things immediately, light bulbs and blocked sinks are a simple fix . As you mentioned we are directly on the golf course which is constantly being watered with untreated water which makes it near on impossible to maintain "Clean unblemished windows". Many families use the tennis courts for fun but they certainly are not "professional standard". The tennis club located with the golf club at the entrance to the property, do allow casual tennis players by arrangement. Please advise reception staff of issues promptly at any property you may stay with to avoid unnecessary disappointment and poor reviews. RegardsComfort Inn

Nice Two Night Break
Our stay was very good. The Premises were old but very clean and modernised since I last stayed there 40 years ago. It adjoins a well kept Golf Course. The Rooms were well appointed with ample facilities such as a microwave oven, fridge etc for a two night stay. The Reception Officer was friendly and very welcoming. As SA was in the grip of severe weather the only setback was that there was a heavy rain caused blocked drain in the carport which had us stepping out of the car into a large pool of rainwater to access our room but by morning this had been cleared. I would stay there again if in the area.

Convenient and simple. Bedding wasn’t ideal but kept us warm. Rooms were a good temperature, accommodation clean. Fridge made some loud unusual noises

Poor water flow in shower.
Room was very comfortable. The only down side was the shower. Barely a trickle came out of the shower head. I think some sort of restrictor has been placed behind the cold tap or even both to prevent people from running the water too fast. Would have been nice to have a decent flow when having a shower.

In the golf grounds, setting was quiet and relaxing. Had pool and tennis facilities available on premises. Stayed in 2 bedroom which hosted everything required with plenty of space for 4. Very clean. Only had bar fridge though.

The property was good & clean without being great. Interaction with staff and assistance was minimal, suggesting indifference. The air conditioner blew directly on the bed in the main room so we had to turn it off. There was no a/c in the separate bedroom so it was too hot to sleep in there.

Nice accommodation
The room, bathroom and toilet were clean and bigger than expected. The kitchenette area is useful with fridge and few cutlery. Nice location, very quiet. There is a BBQ and table available outside. Few moths came in overnight (not sure from where). Will return.

Great place to stay, It's located in the golf course and has fantastic facilities like under cover parking and BBQ's for the guests. Most rooms have pleasant views across the golf course and it's very quite at night.

We had 3 nights at The Comfort Inn at Barmera and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Played golf when we arrived, cooked the BBQ after we finished, just in front of our rooms.Very helpful staff, booking in was very easy and efficient. Very happy with everything on the weekend.

Very Noisy air conditioner. Dirty cutlery. Sweet sickly air freshener pervasive in room. Access only from main road. Otherwise room & bed linen clean.

Thank you Linda for your review. We will pass on your feedback to housekeeping. We have tested the air conditioner which is brand new and could not find an issue with noise. If they are left on all night or for long periods, once room temperature is achieved they will " Cut in And out". Regards Comfort Inn Riverland
