"Stayed for an extended weekend (Friday-Monday) at the end of May for our Anniversary. Found the listing while browsing, and fell in love with with the pictures. Initially we booked for a Fri-Sun. I requested a late checkout and the hostess was glad to work with us. Later, when I realized that it was a holiday weekend, I reached back out to her and she helped us to extend the weekend until Monday. "This place is the perfect stay for our family. It's right on the river which is really beautiful to walk down and admire. Our kids got in and swam but it was a little too chilly for me...lol. fire pit was really nice to sit around at night and of course we roasted marshmallows and had s'mores. John was an incredible host and was there to answer any questions I had."

"It was very cozy. The cabin was clean and quiet. Very much needed recharge. The walk to the river can be a little slippery so make sure you are wearing appropriate footing. The hottub was nice an warm and very romantic. "

"Lovely location, easy to find. Great amenities, we enjoyed the table tennis, propane grill, and hot tub. We knew there would be trains occasionally and we actually enjoyed when they’d go by when we were outside! Inside, we could only faintly hear them. It was 85 degrees but this would have been even more cozy in rainy weather with the several covered areas. If you have wet weather, I think this would be the ideal place to stay! Might have to come back during some drizzle for cocoa and blankets...
