A charming and peaceful gite, this was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Its quiet location was a key highlight, providing a peaceful rest away from it all. Despite the location, we found that main roads and beaches were very accessible if you have a car.The home itself is absolutely lovely and felt very spacious, providing plenty of room to unwind. It was also impeccably clean and tidy, making it easy to feel at home right away.The owners were fantastic; they were always on hand to help and provided great service throughout our stay.We would definitely recommend this gite for anyone looking for a comfortable and tranquil experience.

We had a great week in this spacious and comfortable house with a big garden. The house was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook good meals. The pool is small but lovely to cool off in. The living room is very cozy with comfortable couches to relax in. The bedrooms were spacious and the two bathrooms were good. The house is close to the supermarket and a good basis for a lot of day trips in the area. The communication with Lydia was good with fast replies and she messaged us very quickly after check-out when we forgot something in the house.

Très belle maison

Nous étions 7 dans la maison pour un week-end. La maison est très belle avec un espace détente autour d'une grande cheminée, et un espace salle à manger contenant une très grande table. Les 4 chambres sont toutes belles, spacieuses et bien décorées. La cuisine est bien équipée. 2 belles salle de bain. Beau parc bien qu'on n'est pas pu en profiter vu le temps. On est parfaitement au calme et à 5 minutes en voiture de Barentin où on peut trouver des commerces de qualité, et à 20 à 25 minutes de Rouen. Lydia est accueillante et à l'écoute en cas de besoin. Elle vit dans une autre maison à coté mais les 2 maisons sont totalement indépendantes. Un petit reproche : Le manque de consommables (savon, papier toilettes). La flambée coute 10 euros. Je conseille donc cette maison où on y a passé un week-end très agréable.

Enjoyed our stay

Property and garden large lots of space for children to run around. Small shallow pool ideal for younger children. It was a suprise to find an extra 120 euros added for cleaning this was not disclosed on property booking page.

Beautiful country house

We had a great stay in the beautiful country house. The house is very spacious and has everything you need. The garden is stunning and the kids loved the playground and schwimming pool. It was the perfect starting point for daytrips in the region. Only weird thing was that on the way there Google guided us through a small forest road uphill which is not suited for a regular car. Make sure you take the slightly longer road which is asphalted.

Nous avons réservé pour le week-end de Pâques pour 11 personnes . Nous avons passé un très agréable moment. La propriétaire est accueillante et charmante. Nous recommandons cette location. C’est propre, jolie et très bien agencée.

Fabulous week in Beautiful Gite

The property was large, huge garden, pool was great and had a high standard of equipment. It had everything we needed throughout the stay. It was so very clean, the host was friendly and accommodated our lack of speaking french perfectly! All was explained so we could understand the requirements. They were very close at hand, literally next door, so could help us if we needed anything! Needed to drive to reach town or other places but it was a lovely holiday!

Incredible!!!

We had the most AMAZING stay at Lydia’s home. She is a great host and her husband Jöel is very funny even with the little language barrier. The house was beautifully decorated and built. The children (6 of them) and ourselves really enjoyed the pool that was a welcome addition to the great very hot weather we had. Shops are near by as are attractions. Paris is only a 2 hour drive away. I would 1000% recommend this house to have the most perfect vacation. We really hope to return some day!!

Zeer prettig verblijf in prachtige omgeving

We hebben een zeer prettig verblijf gehad in een prachtige omgeving. De tuin is fantastisch en met een heerlijk zonnetje is het er heerlijk vertoeven. Lydia is zeer aangenaam en vriendelijk. Het huis is goed voorzien en heerlijk knus.

Our oasis

A wonderful and spacious place for us as a family of seven with fairly grown up kids. A great place for daytours around Normandie. We were so well recieved by Lydia and her husband and felt very much at home. A friendly get away in beautiful surroundings.

Haus mit viel Platz und Privatsphäre

Alle positiven Kommentare zu diesem Haus können wir nur teilen! Tatsächlich war dies das erste Ferienhaus, das schöner war als auf den Fotos. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan, respektieren jedoch voll und ganz die Privatsphäre ihrer Gäste. Lydia ist eine exzellente Gastgeberin. Wir kommen wieder!

Très belle location !

Location de charme très spacieuse, bien équipée et très propre tout comme l'espace extérieur. Idéal pour profiter en famille ou entre amis au calme. Bonne communication, description complète. Bref, super séjour, à refaire !

Wunderschöner Urlaub in der Normandie

Wunderschönes normannischen Haus mit sehr gepflegtem grossen Garten und Pool. Sehr sympathische Vermieter, tolle Basis für Ausflüge und Strandbesuch. Wir wären gerne noch geblieben, kommen aber bestimmt wieder!

Top bestemming

We hadden een heerlijke vakantie in dit mooie vakantieverblijf. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en kregen de nodige informatie ivm het huis, zwembad, winkels in de buurt,… De gastvrouw had al deze info ook heel fijn en ordelijk in een map gestoken. Het huis is ruim en heel netjes! Wij voelden ons er meteen thuis! Het huis ligt in een hele rustige, landelijke omgeving en is een fijne uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen. Wij kijken er naar uit om nog eens terug te gaan!

Séjour de rêve même avec un soleil timide.

Accompagnés de nos enfants et petits-enfants,10 personnes en tout, nous avons vécu 2 semaines parfaites. Les propriétaires sont chaleureux et la villa est faite pour partager des moments de partage car très grande et fonctionnelle. Le plus, la piscine chauffée qui a permis aux enfants de se baigner sans problème tous les jours ! Pourtant le soleil était timide....le plus les chevaux....et le très grand jardin....les enfants ont adoré !!! Merci à Lydia pour son accueil et sa rhubarbe....! Si vous voulez vous offrir des moments de bonheurs familiaux cette villa est ce qu’il vous faut !!! Chantal

mooi huis en omgeving

Keurige vakantiewoning, veel ruimte in het huis en tuin ook voor honden perfect. Je stapt de deur uit en wandelt zo het bos in. Ruime slaapkamers. Wij verbleven hier de jaarwisseling, houtvuur aan, en genieten van rust!
