"Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. "River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. "A perfect place to stay after a long day's walk on the Nidderdale Way. The appartement was lovely and warm when we arrived and enjoyed a good hot shower in the shower room. The kitchen was small but everything we needed to make breakfast before starting the next leg of the walk, The bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Had a good meal and a couple of good pints in the Crown Inn which was only a 2 minute walk away."

"Perfect escape and perfectly placed to explore beautiful North Yorkshire and beyond. Surprise welcome pack with all sorts of delicious treats, even the dogs got one! Great circular walk by the stream from the doorstep and driving in any direction offered breathtaking views. The cottage was so tastefully presented and spotless throughout. Lovely neighbours too, we could have stayed on another week. Will recommend to family and friends Looking forward to a return visit… thank you so much"
