A gorgeous pied-à-terre in the heart of Barcelona

The 46 was more than we bargained for. Gorgeous, extremely clean, spacious, and perfectly located. We especially loved listening to the children playing in the « backyard ». The beds were the best beds I have EVER slept in. There is no possible way that you could be disappointed at the 46.

Home Away From Home

If you are looking for an impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, technologically modern flat in a perfect location with storybook views, you have found it. But there's more! You will be fortunate and thankful to also meet and get to know the friendly, helpful, accommodating, and ultra-knowledgeable hosts. Ventura and Nuria could not have made our first visit to Barcelona any better; they had numerous tips and helpful hints for restaurants, sights, transportation, tickets, shopping, and entertainment. Wishing only that our stay were longer and that our paths cross again soon. The Forty Six will be our first choice for a return visit. Cheers!

Exquisitely designed, wonderfully located and hosted by a extraordinarily helpful couple, I doubt you could find a better place to stay in Barcelona, or for that matter, elsewhere. Most beautiful Barcelona apartment

Our family of 5 absolutely loved this beautifully apointed apartment on the beautiful Passeig de Gracia which is a terrific central location surrounded by wonderful shops and restaurants. This apartment feels like 5 star hotel with all of its amenities. Venturo, the owner and host defines the friendly nature of the people and is available to answer any questions or help with your stay in any way. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to go back one day!! Sleeps 8 people so perfect for 2 families of 4 with 2 master suites and 2 additional bedrooms.

This was a 10 star place! The location could not have been better, and the place was perfect. Every detail was thought of including electric adapters. 10/10 recommend staying here! The accommodations exceeded our expectations. Each room in the apartment was perfect and comfortable in every way. Extremy clean and very modern. The view was like from a movie! Plus it is located in a perfect location. Our family felt very safe. Ventura was extremely helpful and gave us many recommendations for local places to enjoy. He even provided us with some treats to start our trip. Oh and plenty of espresso was provided for the entire trip. We will definitely be booking this aparentment again next time we travel to Barcelona.

The Fortysix was a perfect place to stay in Barcelona. The location is perfect with transportation, markets, shopping and restaurants right outside the door.The view of casa ballto from the main room and balcony is amazing.Everything in the apartment is top end and worked perfectly. There was a heat wave during our stay and the air conditioning worked great.Ventura is also a wonderful host. He greeted us on our arrival, explained the functions of the apartment and gave us great recommendations for bars, dining and local excursions. He checked up on us during our stay to make sure we were doing okay and was available for any questions. By far he was the best host of any VRBO that I have stayed.I highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again when I return to Barcelona.

AMAZING!! As a seasoned traveler, I can honestly say that this was one of our top stays when renting an apartment. Before arriving, and throughout our stay, Ventura was readily available for communications. The apartment is top notch and they think of every little detail to make it comfortable and welcoming (coffee, tea, wine, chocolates and much more)! Ventura greeted us at the apartment at check in, explained how everything worked in the apartment and shared his wealth of knowledge on the area (where to eat, where to visit, transportation). His recommendations were all spot on. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Barcelona.

Fantastic stay at the FORTYSIX!

We really enjoyed staying at the luxury apartment, optimally located across the street from Casa Batllo, which we could see from our living room window. Ventura our host, was very friendly and provided excellent suggestions on local activities, historical sites and where to eat for the best experiences in Barcelona. The apartment was very well appointed and provided a luxury experience for our family. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Exceptional in Every Way

46 is a luxury apartment centrally located in the best area in Barcelona. We really enjoyed meeting Ventura and his tour of their lovely place. It had been a long journey for our family and it was such a thoughtful surprise to have so many wonderful snacks, coffee and cold beverages waiting for us upon arrival! The home exceeded our expectations in every way- lovely bedding, spacious rooms, beautiful views, room to spread out (family of 5). The concierge service recommended was efficient and helped us with transfers and tours. Ventura also recommended restaurants, delicious, some of our favorite meals! The location of 46 is fantastic, very safe and close to everything!! We loved Barcelona and hope we have the opportunity to return and stay at 46! Gracias por todo!

This apartment has all of the accoutrements of a five star hotel with more space. The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona, and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. We were a group of 6 ranging in age from 62 to 88 and it was perfect for us. A real bonus was the responsiveness of our hosts. We all enjoyed Ventura’s introductory comments and the history of the apartment itself. His recommendations for restaurants were excellent.I only wish we were staying longer.

Outstanding on EVERY dimension!!!!!!

Our stay at this Barcelona apartment was truly exceptional. The property is absolutely amazing - elegant in design while still being incredibly comfortable. Every detail showcases top quality throughout, from the furnishings to the amenities. The building was designed by the host Ventura's (great?) grandfather, who was a friend of Gaudí. The location is on Passeig de Gràcia, the most elegant and grand street of the city, with a direct gorgeous view of Casa Batlló across the street. It's within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and sights. The superlative VRBO listing description is 100% accurate, and yet the place has positive surprises.Our experience was made complete by our amazing host, Ventura, who ensured our stay was perfect from beginning to end. He went above and beyond by recommending fantastic local restaurants and activities that enhanced our experience of the city. His thoughtful suggestions helped us discover hidden gems we might have otherwise missed, including the Palau de la Música.What's remarkable is that we would actually return to Barcelona because of how wonderful this apartment and host were, not just because Barcelona itself is such a magnificent city. The accommodation became a highlight of our trip rather than just a place to sleep.

Best in Barcelona

We had an amazing stay in Barcelona at this property. Communication with the owner was great in all aspects of our stay. The owner greeted us as we arrived and spent 30 minutes or more describing the property, where to go, and how he could help. No one has ever done that before and it should be a best practice. The pictures match perfectly, everything works great, and the location is #1! Everything Ventura recommends is a wonderful experience! When I return to Barcelona, I will only stay here.

The Forth-Six This is by far the most well appointed apartment we have ever stayed in. Ventura is also the best host we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We started the search for our one month stay in Barcelona a year in advance. All of my questions were responded to in a very timely manner, even with the time zone difference. He provided a wealth of information to us once we arrived thru WhatsApp: restaurants, coffee shops, where to purchase best wine selection, how to get places, and what we should make an effort to see. The location cannot be beat; we walked most everywhere we wanted to go and the taxi stand is very close by which will connect you with the rail or bus stations. You are steps away from a transit station as well. There are plenty of glasses, dishes, silverware, every size of wine glass for a large group. We ranged from 4-7 guests during our stay. The kitchen is a chefs dream for preparing a stay at home meal. Cleanings are arranged weekly and everything is replenished and new towels and linens. Everything you need is here upon arrival: laundry detergent, dishwashing tablets, hand and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, even 3 outlet convertors, umbrellas. When you return from your day to the apartment that has been freshly cleaned, you know it has been well done! Did I mention fresh flowers throughout?! There are black out blinds in the bedrooms and living room, and individually controlled heat and AC in every room.
