The apartment was ideally located and perfect for all of our needs. Jose could not have been nicer - very responsive with great advice about how to make the most of our time in Barcelona. I would feel very fortunate if the apartment was available should we ever get back there.

Barcelona for a week!

Overall, we had a good experience with the property, the best part being the unit’s air conditioning, which provided much needed cooling due to Spain’s unprecedented heat wave during the week of our visit.PROs: AC, comfortable master bed, good shower, great central location, clothes washer. CONs: Kitchen window needs an external blind to limit the afternoon heat, living room couch needs better cushions, and no access to TV streaming services,

Great location and apartment

Great place in middle of city to get to many locations, perfect for those who aren’t really club people or prefer a more laid back location. Local restaurants around and not as touristy as old-town. Bathroom and kitchen are very good for a stay and very easy to clean. Had a good time and didn’t spend too much here either!

Wonderful Barcelona apartment

Our stay in Barcelona was great. Our apartment was located right in the middle of a few very popular destinations. We were able to walk to La Sagrada Familia, the Pg. de Garcia and the gothic district. The apartment had everything that we needed and our host was very friendly and informative. We highly recommend.

Wonderful apartment!

We loved staying in this apartment! Jose, the owner, met us at the apartment and gave us a brief, but thorough explanation of the how everything worked and reviewed a few key places to visit on the Barcelona map. He also made recommendations for places to eat that were delicious! The apartment is in a residential, very safe area. It was quiet, well stocked and very comfortable. He was also very accessible and checked in with us at the end of our stay to see if he could call a cab for us to get us back to the airport. Highly recommend a stay here and would definitely go back!

Perfect location, great stay

The property was as advertised and Jose was a wonderful host from check-in to check-out. We stayed for 4 days with our kids and this was the perfect location to explore Barcelona from. Apartment was in a safe neighborhood with plenty of amenities. Would recommend.

Pleasant break in Barcelona away from the crowds

On way back to UK after 2weeks in Sardinia we stopped off in Barcelona for a few days. Jose welcomed us warmly and gave us an excellent introduction of the apartment and the district. The apartment was well equipped, slightly limited by current building works so it was hard to open any windows. Its situation is fabulous. 15 - 20 mins and you are in the old city with all it business. On the way there are numerous restaurants with excellent food. A really good stay.

Great place to stay!

I was in town for business travel and the few hotels that were available were much more expensive and not in areas of town where you could explore in the evening. The apartment was very nice, well maintained, and in a great area to be able to get everywhere.

Perfect!

Everything about this rental was perfect, from the first communication to checking out. Jose was quick to respond to my questions before we booked, was there to meet us and show us around when we checked in, and met with us to pick up the keys when we left and called us a taxi. The apartment itself was just what we wanted. It had plenty of room for the two of us and all of the amenities we wanted - everything exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect - we could walk to all of the places we wanted to go, and if we preferred not to walk, it had easy access to the subway and bus stops. There were plenty of dining choices right by our place and a supermarket just a block away. We would definitely stay again!

From NY to Europe with Love

I knew Jose’s property was the place I wanted us to stay because I put in 4-5 different property requests and Jose was the only one to respond in a matter of 15-20 minutes. I can’t say enough about José and his prompt response to all my questions. This was a 2 part bucket list vacation with my Jr HS girlfriend & we almost didn’t get to the apt because I left my phone in NY with the reservation info. Thank god I had sent Jose an email with our flight info so, he was expecting us. (I’ve had friends that complained about arriving to a a rental then have to wait for the owner to arrive - NOT JOSE thank god) In order to get a message to him i told my friend to go to the VRBO site and look for Jose’s info and send him an e- mail letting him know what happened and to send us the address to the apt, I told my friend he will respond with in 15-20 minutes and he did; he also waited for us to arrive outside of the apt. it’s our 1st time to Europe our stay in Barcelona was for 3 amazing nites followed by a 7 day Mediterranean cruise and thanks to Jose’s professionalism it didn’t take long to get it started. The Apt was cozy, quaint, clean and close to cafes and restaurants. Mass transit was a short walk from the apt and with Jose’s tutorial suggestions and map our adventure started. I highly recommend Jose’s properties because of location professional & friendly manner he handles his properties. Jose you are amazing THANK YOU so much I hope to go back to Barcelona soon and stay at one of your properties. Penelope & Lorraine;)

Nice apartment

My experience with this property was very nice. Jose was on time, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Place was cleaned when we arrived- it is always nice, nothing takes away from the first impression as much as dirty place. He gave us great tips on how to get around the town. Apartment itself is very nice, just what we expected. Not very big, but about what one would expect from Barcelona. Very very nice balcony. I would spend ours looking outside people and neighbored watching. Many people in Barcelona don’t close the blinds and you can see everything in their appartments. It was the most entertaining experience and I was surprised how much I enjoyed. 2 bedrooms and a futon in living room were all comfortable to sleep in. Unfortunately, couldn’t sleep in the living room due to the noise. We arrived right on time for demonstrations in Barcelona and it was quite an excitement outside on most nights past midnight, so I ended up sharing bed with my mom. We still were very comfortable even though we are not skinny at all. The location is good as well. We walked to Sagrada Família and La Rambla. Nice grocery store near by the apartment and many places to eat. Apartment has everything you need, the only thing I missed was a lighter to light a candle for my mom’s birthday cake, but I didn’t expect to find it anyway. The shower was nice, but be aware that hot water runs out at some point. Usually the third person who was taking a shower in a row had this issue. It happened twice out of 5 days. We do like nice and long showers though, it might not an issue if people take shorter showers.But still water was lukewarm, and it wasn’t too bad. Overall, highly recommend! Great energy or happiness and youth all around this place! XO

Jose's apt. is safe, secure & clean. Perfect place for elders like us. Check in & check out were flexible. Arrived at Jose's apt about 9pm & he was there waiting for us in the street when the taxi dropped us. He also called a taxi on our departure date which was at 3:30 am because of an early flight. He provided maps & highlighted the sites to visit during our stay. The apt. is conveniently located to many restaurants, fruits & veggies stores which are just across the street. Some are open till 3am & grocery stores open for 24 hours. You can also find Pharmacy, Vet clinic, Martial Arts School around the area. Metro Station & bus stops are about 10 minutes walk. Bought the T10 metro tickets instead of buying 1 ticket every time we ride a bus or train so we can save money per Jose's advise. Our stay at Jose's apt was great. We will definitely stay at Jose's apt when we come back & visit Barcelona again someday. Thanks so much Jose!

Nice place, great owner

We stayed four nights in this very nice apartment. Two minor things. The mattress in the larger bed is hard. We liked it but those who prefer softer might not be as comfortable. Also, the ventilation in the bedrooms is good but not great. It was pretty cool during our visit so we never used the air-conditioner. Jose, the manager, is amazing. He was so helpful to us! We liked the neighborhood a lot and you can easily get everywhere from there. Recommend.

Great place in a prime location

Jose is an exceptional host. The place was exactly as advertised and Jose gave us the local information on restaurants etc., within minutes we felt like locals. The neighborhood felt very safe and, of course, Familia Sagrida was close by. Many excellent restaurants and bars in the area. When we were leaving tacos were hard to come by so Jose helped us with our luggage and stayed with us and hailed a taxi. Travellers that are nervous about this type of travel can rest assured that Jose will be there as promised We wouldn't hesitate stay at his place again.
