Lots of good, and a few not-so-great things to be aware of:
The good:
*Great location
*Very clean
*Comfortable bed
*Accurate listing (as pictured, location as indicated, etc.)
*Extremely easy to check-in and check-out
*Staff in the building office (there during normal working hours) are very friendly and kind.
The not-so-good:
*Unresponsive property management. I sent a message to them via VRBO prior to arriving and never got a response. (They do respond over email.) After arriving, I had issues with the lock on my door one evening around 8p. No answer on the after-hours lines I was transferred to, and no one ever followed-up after I left a voicemail message.
* Noisy. For the specific unit I was in, the bedroom backs directly onto the building hallway/stairwell, and you will hear everyone coming and going - voices, walking, everything. It's just drywall. I live in New York City, and am used to upstairs neighbors, street noise, etc. But this was BAD - I didn't have a good night's sleep during my entire stay. (People coming back later at night from bars/restaurants at 1 a.m., and then people with kids creating noise at 7 a.m. every day) It impacted my stay.
If this apartment cost a bit less, I would say 4-stars all the way. But given what I paid for a stay in early December, I feel I could have had better value and more comfortable stay in an apartment in a slightly less central neighborhood, or a hotel.
