First of all, it took me 2 hrs to gain access to the unit. I was sent the incorrect information on where to retrieve the keys form, no once but twice. Third time I was given the correct location, which was a shady convenience store. They use a service call Guest Ready to get your key, complete nightmare. Thankfully, someone who resided at the building lets us in the foyer while I walked several blocks to locate the store to get the keys. On my walk to the store, I had an encounter with two young adolescents, who felt compelled to throw a shoe at me, it was a shocking experience.Overall it was clean, but the smell from the laundry room was very unpleasant. The refrigerator was not very clean, but thankfully we brought Clorox wipes to sanitize the kitchen before putting any food in it. The view from the back room was not a pleasant view, you hear all the noises from the residents. Luckily, it was on the 5th floor so it was safe to be up on the top floor. We were not informed that there was MAJOR construction just a step from the front door. The entire block was completely under construction and it was difficult to get around the mud and all the construction debris. The location was not at all appealing or safe, many homeless people just outside the building. Thankfully, the only saving grace was the corner restaurant. The owners noticed how frazzled we were & we explained our experience and they treated us so kind and welcoming. Would not stay here again.
