Lovely, short stay in Barcelona
Three women and one couple, all in our seventies stayed at this lovely apartment for four days prior to a pilgrimage. it was charming and adequate for our needs. Felt a part of Barcelona living. One bath with shower is a bit small but beds comfortable, kitchen had all that we wanted and social area plenty large. Go up street and around corner to small eatery Rekon for great empanadas, salad and eggplant appetizer. Metro nearby!

Great hostess and rental
Mariona was the best hostess I've ever had. She was extremely responsive to every question I had, leading up to our arrival. She even called us a taxi when I asked how to get one. I just wish the rental was a little closer to the main attractions we wanted to see (Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, La Sagrada Familia, etc.). The place was as described in the listing with lots of local shops and restaurants to choose from. Thank you, Mariona!

Very nice place to stay. Clean. Really quiet and yet Barri Gotic etc.. in walking distance. Mariona is super friendly and nice. We hab a really nice time there.

Comfortable Apartment
Everything we needed in a good location. Mariona met us at the apartment and explained how to use the washing machine and made sure the thermostat was set comfortably for us. Beds were very comfortable although the mattress in the master bedroom is quite firm, but some folks like that. Our stay was over Christmas and Mariona provided champagne, bottled water, and a poinsettia. We appreciated her thoughtful touches and enjoyed meeting her.

Wonderful stay!
The apartment was beautiful and in a wonderful neighborhood. Safe, quiet , close to all that we wanted to see and do. The apartment was perfect to come to at the end of our day. Wonderful location, great apartment
We stayed at the apartment for 9 nights. Our host was very responsive and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants. The location is very convenient, walking distance to many places and a block and a half from the L1 subway.

Perfect accommodations
Mariona was a perfect host! Her home was beautiful with everything we needed. She welcomed us at our arrival with a bottle of wine and stayed to explain how to work all the amenities, as well as answered my questions throughout our stay in a timely manner. We could not have been happier!

Perfect apartment/perfect host!
Mariona greeted us at the door and had wine and water in the refrigerator for us. The location was ideal for exploring-safe, central but not too noisy. She also gave us restaurant recommendations. Everything worked wonderfully. Highly recommend!

Decent and quiet Appartement in a great location
Appartment with enough space for the five of us. A very friendly and helpful host. The location is near all amenities and located close to the metro, so that all major sights can be reached easily. Despite that the appartment is in such a central location it is still very quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great stay in Barcelona
The apartment is great and has everything you need. It’s on a nice quiet street and has easy access to the metro (2-3 blocks away). Plenty of choices for coffee and dining, as well as, a full sized grocery store a block away.

Lovely apartment in a great location!
Full of light and spacious apt. All the amenities we needed for the week. Close to many great restaurants and cafes. The apt has a washing machine and place to air dry clothes on the terrace. Super comfortable. The owner is delightful and very helpful with recommendations. We would love to come back.

Great host and property location!
We really enjoyed our stay in this property. It was downtown allowing us to use the well developed public transit system to explore and enjoy the many sites of Barcelona. It was clean, pleasant, and very quiet at night. Our host Moriana was very helpful and quick to address any questions or needs we may have had during our stay.

Wo man sein will
Eine sehr schöne Wohnung in einem 125 Jahre alten Haus: großzügig für 4 bis 6 Personen, geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtet mit guten Möbeln, denen man ansieht, dass sie nicht aus einem Discounter sind (wie man sie leider in den meisten FeWos findet). Es gibt nicht nur einen Balkon, sondern einen tollen Wintergarten, der den halben Tag von der Sonne beschienen ist. Die Küche ist modern, zweckmäßig und es fehlt nichts. Es gibt zwei Bäder, eines davon sehr groß mit einer Spiegelwand. Mariona ist eine gebildete, sehr freundliche Vermieterin, mit der man sich gerne länger unterhält. Ein gut bestückter Supermarkt ist 100 m entfernt; in der Tiefgarage ist eine Autovermietung. In Barca braucht man aber kein, denn zur Altstadt sind es 20 Minuten zu Fuß; , Metro- und Busstationen sind nur wenige 100 Meter entfernt.

GREAT location to explore Barcelona
This VRBO was the perfect spot to explore Barcelona for our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens, 1 tween). The location was close to the metro, within walking distance of lots of landmarks and still incredibly quiet at night. The views from the dining room window were stellar, living area comfortable and amenities made for a comfortable stay. Mariona was a dream host and available for tips and advice throughout our stay. Plus a cold bottle of rose to boot! Highly recommend!

Mariona was excellent, replying promptly and completely to all questions and concerns. The check in--with my 2 brothers who arrived before I did--was pleasant, prompt, and professional. She helped by reserving a taxi when I asked her to tell me whom she recommended to get us to the train station for an early morning train and was always accessible. The location of the apt. is central, especially easy for transportation, with some decent places to eat around. Unfortunately, the apt. itself has a few issues. There are no instructions for operating any appliances, no information about the process for leaving, the coffee maker noted in the description did not exist, the shower head in the large bathroom could not be hung up, the tubs are very high sided with no safety bars which is a hazard, and there was a musty smell which never abated. This could be a very nice stay with a few updates and some attention to the property.
