The apartment was in a great location. It had everything we needed. The only thing we weren't prepared for was how loud it was. We expected there to be some noise due to the location in a main area, but it seemed that we could hear everything very well at all hours of the night and morning.

Beautiful space right in the very epicenter of the Gothic Quarter. The interior decor matched the city vibe perfectly. Great view from the balcony. The washer was very handy and it allows you to travel lighter. There are more restaurants, shops, tapas places, convenience stores and markets within a 5 minute walk to count or even visit in a years worth of travel. Every cuisine represented.There is a very busy and late staying bar and club scene right outside the apartment and the noise can be a factor. Carles was great and met me at the rental exactly as he described. He also gave me some great restaurant recommendations. You will want for nothing in this very busy, very charming neighborhood.

Great Stay

This apartment is in the perfect location for all the sights. It was spacious and very clean. You will have to carry cases up 20 steps tp get to elevator but we managed with 2 large cases. There is lovely nightlife in this area but the noise didn’t bother us. Carles is a great host.

Appartement was super nice and clean. Location right on the Rambla, walking distance to metro Liceu, walking distance to cruise shuttle. Carl was waiting for us on arrival day easy communication and quick response.

Simply an amazing Stay in central Barcelona!

Carles is a great host.He helped us find and settle in to the apartment.The apartment is located right on La Rambla which is the main thoroughfare in the Gothic area. The apartment could use some upgrades but everything functional and working. Elevator is located on second floor so someone with mobility issues not recommended. The noise outside could be an issue but it wasn’t for us . Metro within steps which we used quite a lot. A very busy square 50 steps away from Apartment. Overall if you love busy and people watching this is the place.

Great Location in the Heart of the Gothic Quarter

We had a great stay at this property. Great location, comfortable bed (which is great for me as I have a bad back). But as many of the other reviews have stated (including the owner when we arrived) it was noisy at night. Earplugs helped but don't eliminate all of the noise. Otherwise, a great spot that's within walking distance to almost all of the major tourist attractions.

Great stay and location.

Great apartment. We had no issues. Had read the complaints about the sound but we ran the fan and slept through the night with no issues. We even had ear plugs but did not need to use them. Very comfortable. Able to do laundry. Vaulted ceilings opened up the area and made it feel bigger. Check in was smooth. Location felt safe.

Holiday In Barcelona

Had a wonderful time introducing my boyfriend to Barcelona. This cute studio apartment was a great base for our adventures being just off La Rambla, and a few steps into the narrow gothic walks. We enjoyed standing out on the balcony and watching the people (and some times passing entertainment). Would be happy to stay here again if I return to Barcelona.

Overall good stay...

As noted, apartment does have street noise, compounded by major construction on adjacent Las Ramblas. I was fine using foam earplugs, but if you can't use them beware. Spacious one room layout for sleeping, living, dining. Small but adequate bathroom. Kitchen could use an update, but functioned. Entry/apartment doors can be challenging, but not surprising for a historic building.

Barcelona stay

Awesome location off La Rambla and adjacent to the Gothic Quarter. Steps from the Licieu Metro stop on the green line. Apartment had perfect amenities for a full week stay. Street noise is as described — not a problem at all if you’re used to city living. The construction noise on both the building and street were also quite loud, but they’ll be temporary and wouldn’t prevent us from staying here again.

Apartment was in a great busy locarion directly off las Ramblas and placa reial. Its noisy mkst hours but more white noise. Carles was quick to check us in a d apartments as listed. Great breakfast options just steps away. Easy metro stop right near. Would stay again

Clean, comfortable conveniently located

The apartment was clean and comfortable. All supplies available. Owner met us there and was very helpful. The location was great. Yes, it was noisy at night but it did not bother us. Many restaurants in Placa Reial including a Jazz club. A hugh market was 3 blocks away with any kind of food you could want. We thought it was a good value apartment.
