Wonderful charming apartment. All communication with Habitat Apartments was prompt and friendly. Renata did a thorough job of checking us in. She was friendly and delightful. She gave recommendations for things to do and nearby restaurants.
The building had a fast little elevator and a lovely entryway. The air conditioning worked well. The Catalan ceilings were so charming. Plus the apt had nice tall ceilings making it feel more spacious.
They gave us two welcome packages with little cookies, a mini olive oil, and other goodies. That gesture was very thoughtful. When you look out the juliet balcony, you can the see the top of the Sagrada Família. It was pretty quiet inside the apt. You could not hear much street noise. Sometimes we could hear someone walking upstairs but it was only a couple times a day and never very late. They also give you dishwashing and clothes washing soap, plus a bunch of shampoo and body wash. The bathrooms were spacious, clean, and had room for your makeup and toothbrush stuff.
The beds were comfortable. There is a lot of room to hang your clothes, plenty of mirrors, and good places to put your toiletries. They give you plenty of towels. Bring your own washcloth. There’s a washing machine; make sure to spin at top speed, then use the rack to dry clothes. The kitchen has all you need to cook plus a dishwasher. We thought we would cook but ended up eating out the whole time. The living room was comfy for lounging and the WiFi is private and fast. The floors were lovely, tiled, some rooms had hardwood. Nice tile in bathrooms.
The coffee at Por Sant Cafe across the street was excellent, they even remembered our order! The neighborhood has a lot of restaurants and shops. We found a nice charcuterie/wine shop nearby.
Thank you so much for making us feel welcome. We loved our stay and hope to return someday.
