Great stay. Good wifi. laundry, and very comfortable. The communication was excellent every step of the way. the neighborhood was fantastic and the owner gave us a wondetful list of restaurants close by. Highly recommend.

Live like a local in this great apartment in the Eixample neighborhood! Location was excellent, out of the touristy fray of the Gothic Quarter or downtown, but still close to everything. One block from the Rocafort Metro station. Walking distance to plenty of great restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores. The apartment is not super fancy, but it's clean, comfortable and everything works: wifi, hot water, kitchen appliances, AC, washing machine, elevator. We had 5 adults and found the three bedrooms and two bathrooms very comfortable and accommodating. Milena was great, she met us at the apartment and gave us some great tips during the week of our stay. Maybe the best was the street festival in the Sants neighborhood. If you're there in August, check it out!

Very clean and convenient

We had an amazing time in Barcelona, and the apartment made our stay so easy and convenient. The location is quiet and so close to the metro station. Laundry made it easy to keep our packing minimal.

Unser Aufenthalt war gut. Die Wohnung lag etwas ausserhalb, die Mülltonnen vor der Türe und die Aussicht waren nicht optimal, aber ist halt Grossstadt. Die Pappe im Aufzug wissen wir nicht wofür diese war. Sah nicht schön aus. Aber die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet und die Betreuung der Gastgeber war sehr gut. Zu Fuss waren die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Strand nicht erreichbar, ein ÖV-Ticket ist empfehlenswert. Sonst waren Restaurants, Supermarkt, Café in der näheren Umgebung

A Perfect Barcelona Stay

You could not ask for a better base from which to explore Barcelona than the Garcia family's lovely, authentic and comfortably well-equipped apartment in Eixample. The immediate neighborhood itself has everything you could need for a wonderful city experience: Restaurants, peaceful squares, grocery stores and markets, bakeries, etc are all abundant and close at hand. Further out, the museums and galleries of Montjuic in one direction, or the high-end shopping of Passeig de Gracia in the other, are walkable within a 30 minute step, along with all that lies between - or if you prefer the superb Metro to get around, there's a stop a block away, or you can easily hail a taxi on the nearby Gran Via. And then there was the wonderful hospitality: A warm personal welcome from Milena (organized via WhatsApp beforehand) set us up with all that we needed to know about the apartment and provided some specific local recommendations, augmented by the extensive list of local knowledge we had received from Miguel, as part of the excellent communication we had with all the details before the trip. We felt welcome, at home and so very comfortable here, and look forward to a repeat stay on our next trip to this wonderful city. Thank you to the Garcia family for a memorable time in Barcelona!

Fantastic home base for family

Our family of four loved our stay! It was a hot week in Barcelona and the apartment was a cool haven each afternoon and evening. The metro, restaurants, grocery stores, etc are all in the immediate neighborhood. Getting to the major tourist sites was easy, because the metro was a direct line. The apartment is a nice walk to Plaça de Catalunya and some touristy areas. We walked once and would have walked more if the heat had been better!Thank you Milena for your warm welcome and tips about the area. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it without any hesitation!

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Barcelona

Beautiful property with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Very spacious with two living rooms and full kitchen with full washer and dryer inside. Property manager was very communicative, informative, and welcoming. Would stay here again!

wonderful stay

The apartment, with an elevator, was a great home base for our week in Barcelona. Milena was here to meet us and to see us off, responded very quickly to our questions, and was 100% helpful. The apartment was very clean and quickly became our home away from home for the week of our stay. The kitchen was fully functional. Rocafort station is conveniently right around the corner (distance less than 1.5 blocks), and there is a 24/365 grocery store just one half block away. Value for money was great - we could not have come close to the cost of this trip at any good hotel. We were four people total - suggest use metro 'other - family passes' - for 11.20E for each 8 trips (in 30 days), plus 1E to buy the card. We used one reload of that card per day - very economical.

Wonderful home away from home!

The host and property manager were both extremely responsive from the date of booking til the date of leaving. The apartment was in a perfect location; a few blocks from restaurants, cafes, metro, markets, etc. It was also far enough away from the very busy city so it was quiet at night to sleep and the streets were never over crowded - even with us being there over New Years. The apartment was very well suited with full kitchen and laundry and space to relax in the living area. The temperature was easily controled so we were not too warm or too cold. There were basic items provided for the bathrooms and the kitchen, and anything else we needed was available at the market a block away. The two bedrooms do not have (American size at least) king size beds - they are full/queen. All in all would highly recomend!

Older quaint apartment with washer/dryer and 3 bedrooms in great location. Some noise abatement is advised and elevator outages were sometimes an issue ("second" floor is really the 5th floor). Friendly folks to work with.

Schöne Lage in Barcelona

Unser Aufenthalt bei Miguel in Barcelona war fantastisch. Trotz unserer Flugverspätung und Ankunft nach Mitternacht wurden wir von Milena herzlich empfangen. Die Wohnung war großzügig und bot ausreichend Platz für unsere 5-köpfige Familie. Neben den drei Schlafzimmern gab es auch ein praktisches Schlafsofa in einem separaten Raum. Miguel hat uns vorab wertvolle Informationen zur Umgebung per E-Mail zukommen lassen, was sehr hilfreich war. Die Gegend selbst ist wunderschön, gepflegt und bietet eine hervorragende Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen!

Great location I’m beautiful Barcelona

Location was wonderful and we felt very safe. The kitchen was well appointed and the host was very helpful and responsive. Typical small European showers and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again

Great Find in Barcelona

We loved this little apartment. It was perfect for 3 friends traveling together. It is a small space but it had everything we needed. Warning the showers are very very small. However, building was quiet, neighborhood was awesome, so close to L1 metro line & several buses. Many places to shop for food. We were met at check in & shown how everything worked. Upon check out, Maribel even helped us get a taxi. All of us would stay again if we ever return to Barcelona.

My family just finished an amazing week at “El Grec” and I’d highly recommend it. The location was perfect, very close to the metro, safe neighborhood, central location. Perfect Stay

We are a family of four with two teenage boys, Apartment was perfect for us for the four nights. Location made getting around easy, we walked everywhere but bus and metro were nearby options available to us. Host was excellent with easy and constant communication. Recommend for the short stay visitor.
