Near Chianti Classico Wine Production

Located on top of one of the highest hills of the Chianti Classico area, this Villa was a castle fortified in the 12th century by the Vallombrosan monks. The stone façade faces a courtyard, closed by a crenelleted wall. The private garden overlooks the Chianti hills, offering an overwhelming view of the surroundings.

A complete restoration has brought the building back to its ancient splendour.

Inside, the medieval structure was decorated with Renaissance elements in pietra serena during the Quattrocento. All the rooms have wooden ceilings and floors paved with the original terracotta tiles.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with en suite bathroom, decorated with hand made glazed terracotta tiles; an ancient kitchen provided with modern cooking equipment, cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, coffee machine and washing machine. The large dining room has a decorated stone fireplace and a sitting corner with satellite TV.

On the first floor, there are two double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom.

Outdoor, on the meadow, deck chairs around the pool allow to relax. A paved corner with wrought iron chairs and a large table is the perfect location for a drink or a dinner ‘with a view’: at sunset, it offers the magnificent show of the twilight in Chianti when the lights of the villages and country houses turn on one by one in the dark at night.

The price refers to the entire villa with 5 double bedrooms.

A small apartment can be rented upon request and will be priced accordingly.

This small apartment, has a separate entrance, a cozy kitchen, a sitting room and a bathroom on the ground floor and a bedroom on the top floor. It is the ideal accomodation for those who want more privacy during their holiday with relatives and friends!

Security Deposit:

500€ due at check-in.

- Pets are welcome! € 30 per day for additional cleaning

Check in: 4:00pm to 8:00.

After 8:00pm a surcharge of € 50 is required. After 10:00pm check in is not allowed.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

- Cancellation occurs between 30 days and the check in day, the total amount is not refundable but your stay can be postponed to another date, according to availability of that villa. For one time only.
